Eine hervorragende empfehlenswerte Unterkunft
Pros:

Antonella, die Besitzerin, ist wundervoll. Sie liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Frühstück mit Obst, Säften, eigener hergestellter Marmelade und Honig vom Nachbarn sehr gut. Die Unterkunft liegt in der Altstadt des Ortes und hat trotzdem im Innenhof sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Aussicht auf die alte Kirche und Kastell ist sehr schön. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist außergewöhnlich gut.

Cons:

Für jemanden, der schlecht Treppen steigen kann, ist der Auf-Abgang ins 2.Obergeschoss schwierig (Steigungsverhältnis Treppe -)

Ein positives Erlebnis italienischer Gastfreundschaft

Die Übernachtung in La Ghiacciaia war ein besonders positives Erlebnis auf meiner Radreise. Ich wurde noch weit nach dem Ende der offiziellen Check-In-Zeit überaus freundlich willkommen geheißen und sogar mit Speis und Trank versorgt. Das gebuchte kleine Appartement (s. Fotos 22-27) war vollständig ausgestattet, genau richtig für meinen Bedarf (konnte auch meine verschmutzten Radklamotten waschen und trocknen). Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, mit Liebe zum Detail vorbereitet und durch die netten Gespräche mit der Wirtin überaus kurzweilig. Schade, dass man nicht 11 Punkte vergeben kann...
