Unhygienic conditions, staff invading our privacy, and an attempted scam – we fled after just two nights.
Pros:

We booked for 7 days but left after two nights. We were misled by positive reviews—at this price, we expected basic cleanliness and decency, not luxury.

Cons:

The pool was clean and well-kept, and the owner made a nice initial impression.

To start, there was supposed to be a coffee machine, but it was missing completely. Check-in was non-existent (no ID requested, just pointing at a paper printout). No information was provided about the area or how to contact the owner.
The room was in terrible condition. The AC was covered in mold, which made us physically sick on our second day. The ceiling was cracked, the chandelier was loose, and the cabinet under the sink reeked of mold. Inside, we found a ruined wooden cutting board, dull knives, and a dirty plastic spoon covered in mold (we had to buy our own utensils and cups). Cleaning up was impossible with just a leftover drop of dish soap and a used sponge. In the bathroom, the drain was improperly installed so water stood on the floor, and the shower curtain covered the toilet and paper holder, flooding everything after a shower.
The worst part was the staff's behavior. While we were resting sick in our room, the cleaner had a loud argument with the owner, hit our door hard with a broom, and then unlocked and opened our door without knocking. The owner never even apologized for this intrusion. When we decided to leave, the owner tried to scam us by demanding payment for all 7 nights, eventually lowering it to 3 nights, even though we stayed for exactly 2. Stay far away!

​Cozy, clean, and close to the sea — highly recommended!
Pros:

The lady who runs the apartments is wonderful. The room was cleaned almost every day, and the owner often left us a treat in the room. The pool is almost always empty and is regularly cleaned. The beds are very comfortable. The apartments are very close to the beach. The little terrace is very nice and I warmly recommend these apartments to everyone!

Cons:

The room is relatively small, but more than sufficient for this price. There aren't really any places for going out nearby, but a couple of bus stops towards Platanias solves this shortcoming. Bus tickets are around 2.40 euros.

Séjour parfait, logement idéalement situé, propre, agréable et tenu par une patronne adorable
Pros:

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l’emplacement idéal pour visiter tout l’ouest de la Crète. Le logement pour 4 personnes était spacieux, propre, climatisé, avec une petite cuisine pratique. La piscine et la proximité de la mer (150 m) ont rendu le séjour encore plus agréable, tout comme le ménage régulier.

Cons:

Franchement, rien de particulier à signaler. Tout s’est très bien passé et nous avons été pleinement satisfaits du logement et de l’accueil. Rien qui n’ait diminué la qualité de notre séjour.

Pros:

Our stay at Anniko Hotels was truly wonderful. From the very first moment, we felt at home. The hostess welcomed us with a delicious homemade cake and even treated us to fresh watermelon during our stay. Everything was spotless, clean, and very well maintained.
When it was time to leave, she said goodbye to us with such warmth and kindness that it felt like saying goodbye to a mother. Her hospitality made our holiday even more special.
Thank you for such a memorable experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Anniko Hotels to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay.

Cons:

The only small issue was the shower, as the water drained a bit slowly. Other than that, everything was perfect, and it didn't affect our stay at all.

Všetko bolo na 1*. Veľmi milá majiteľka, obdarila nás aj naše deti pozornosťami. Každý deň upratovanie, všetko čisté, krásny bazén, pohodlné postele. Určite odporúčame, cítili sme sa skvele a za všetko ešte raz ĎAKUJEME ❤️
