Pros:

La chambre était très propre et confortable. L’accès fut facile. L’endroit est bien situé à environ une vingtaine de minutes de marches pour atteindre le New et Old Town. Le déjeuner était excellent, au delà de nos attentes.

Die Frau, die Frühstück vorbereitet hat war ganz freundlich. Frühstück war gut. Das Bett war bequem und das Zimmer sauber.

Cons:

Da mein Zimmer ganz oben war, war es sehr warm. Ein Ventilator war vorhanden, was Nachts geholfen hat. Das Fenster könnte man zwar kippen, aber die viel befahrene Ferry Road war für mich zu laut dafür.

A cosy stay in leafy Leith
Pros:

Very friendly and super helpful staff - let me leave my bags and also check in early. I asked for and was given a quiet room at the back. The bed was very comfortable, TV,, teas and coffees in the room, easy chairs, good bedside lighting, WiFi, decent no frills shower room, nicely decorated. The Brig o Doon is right on the bus route to the city, walking distance to the gorgeous Botanic Gardens, near to cafes and takeaways. The breakfast was good and served by a lovely lady. I had a great night's sleep and would happily stay again.

Cons:

The only thing was the slightly erratic plumbing - but it's an old house and I was on the top floor. It wasn't a major issue - just the only thing I could think of that was negative.

No one there to greet you on arrival or there throughout the night soulless only met someone doing breakfast next morning

Good value for money for a stay in Edinburgh
Pros:

Excellent location, close to several bus stops. Good breakfast. Staff was friendly and let us leave our luggage before check-in. Free parking lots on the other side of the street.

Cons:

The room felt smaller than it was because of furniture arrangement. Hot water took a few minutes to arrive in the shower.

Pros:

It is a lovely clean and welcoming guest house well located and with a bus stop literally at the the front door. We had a generous breakfast and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again when in Edinburgh.

Pros:

la chambre était spacieuse, l’arrêt de bus pour le centre d’Édimbourg est juste devant l’appartement, ce qui est un avantage.

Cons:

les rideaux ne sont absolument pas occultant si vous voulez faire une grasse matinée c’est raté. J’ai trouvé ça un petit peu cher.
