Hotel with good location, breakfast very simple
Pros:

The hotel is well located, in the old City, ease to move using tram 12. The hotel provides free transportation card.

Cons:

At the begining the staff is to welcoming, but later changes. There is no elevator. The breakfast is very simple, no buffet, it is served in a plate (see photo for two people), most cold food, except eggs. The shower is really small, less than 1 m2.

Convenient and relaxed.
Pros:

Perfect location for wandering the old town and immediate access to Bus12 for the station and up to the fabulous Paul Klee. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice little bar area and good breakfasts. It’s only a 3star, but affordable for Bern. Good WiFi.

Cons:

It’s only a 3star so don’t expect plush luxury but shower great and plentiful hot water. Would probably be uncomfortable in summer as no air con.

Beste Altstadtlage
Pros:

Lage war super, im schönsten Teil der Altstadt, beim Bärengraben. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber man hatte alles, was man brauchte. Es handelt sich um ein altes, historisches Haus, darum natürlich ohne Lift mit engen Treppen, vielleicht nicht geeignet für mobil Eingeschränkte. Alles sehr sauber und das Frühstück im Cafe war auch gut.

Cons:

Die beiden Einzelbetten stehen nicht nebeneinander, sondern sich gegenüber, bedingt durch die Grösse des Zimmers.
Für das Gebotene ist der Preis ziemlich hoch, aber das ist halt die Schweiz.

Pros:

Hôtel très bien placé, agréable, avec un personnel très gentil.

Cons:

Moisissure au-dessus de la douche (mais le reste de la chambre était propre). Petit-déjeuner pas trop à mon goût (il y a un peu de tout mais si on préfère soir du sucré soit du salé on est un peu limité car c'est d'office un peu des deux).

Very pleasant, nice folks, great location, good breakfast
Pros:

Very nice little hotel, great location, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful (especially about helping bring heavy things up the stairs - no elevator). We'd be happy to stay there again.

Cons:

Biggest issue - no elevator. We had two large instruments with us, so it was tricky getting them up the curvy stairs. But with the help of the staff, it was OK.
