Friendly staff, room was clean with tea and coffee facilities
Bit noisy with traffic but earplugs provided,
We booked this as a convenient location for Carlisle. It's just a short drive away and easily accessible. The reception was welcoming and friendly and the staff told us everything we needed to know upon arrival. We ate in the restaurant and the food was freshly prepared in the traditional way - a bit like home cooking (that's meant to be a compliment!). The breakfast was tasty and there was a really good menu selection. Our room was spacious, a little dated, but totally in keeping with the building and we didn't want for anything.
There wasn't anything that upset us during our short stay.
Value for money. Convenient. Comfortable bed and nice additions: tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water etc
Cold ‘hot’ water in the shower. Despite the notice saying that it would take 3 minutes for hot water to arrive it didn’t seem to be getting any warmer after that time.
Beautiful room, clean, comfy, welcoming staff. Had our first night away from our 11 week old son and absolutely loved it xx
Really welcoming owners and staff, excellent really good home cooked food. Honestly worth a visit, especially on a motorcycle.
Really nothing, want me to nitpick, demera sugar ….thats it! Home from home , family run , don’t change.
