Nooit meer en zeker geen aanrader
Pros:

Vlak bij waar ik voor mijn werk moest zijn

Cons:

A South Downs Way Detour
Pros:

This was a stop on the South Downs Way and it meant leaving the path at Ditchling Beacon and walking down through fields and woodlands to the hotel. However It was a pleasant detour and a break from the exposed, windy and rough route of the official path.
The hotel adjoins a busy road leading to a modern housing estate and is close to the university. My single room was small but well equipped, spotlessly clean and recently modernised, good bedhead lighting and a nice shower room. The windows are modern and well sealed so I was not bothered by traffic noise. I had the best meal of my trip here- sausages and mash, gravy and mangetout peas- plain and tasty. Breakfast was equally good and the display of vinyl album covers in the dining room was fascinating.

Cons:

A personal dislike is the single cascade shower heads as was the case here where one has to stand in the cubicle to set the controls. being drenched with freezing cold, then very hot water before finding a suitable setting.

Pros:

Great for what we needed, location was convenient and able to get a taxi to the town.

Helpful information provided on parking/ getting to the hotel.

Please music shut off at exactly 11pm (as we needed to be up early!)

Cons:

Sheets had a stain on and also hair in the bathroom/ shower area so could have been a little cleaner.

No arrival instructions received apart from parking as mentioned above

Great value for money stay for a night at the Amex stadium.
Pros:

Great location for an event at the Amex stadium. Friendly staff and simple check in / out process. The rooms had the essentials and were very clean and modern.

Cons:

I would have liked to have a soft matt for the floor when I got out of the shower however there was a spare bath towel. Parking on street rather than on the premises but we were lucky and got a spot not too far away.

Cons:

The noise levels are quite high due to the nearby busy main road. Additionally, since the pub is located on the ground floor, there may be late-night activity from patrons. If you are looking for a quieter environment, especially after a long workday and needing to wake up early, it might be advisable to consider a more remote location.
