Das Zimmer war nicht sauber, im Badezimmer war einiges defekt. Der Teppich im Schlafzimmer war gruselig….das Hotel sah aus wie eine Baustelle
Very clean room. Bed was so comfortable, linen extremely soft. Quiet at night. Decor in hotel very pretty.
I couldn't help feeling the hotel felt like more of a premium bed & breakfast rather than a hotel due to the lack of restaurant and facilities. I felt the room a little overpriced due to this.

Beautiful hotel ideal location was a lovely weekend lovely shopping and had a great night out with a lovely Thai meal.
The hotel was just perfect! We absolutely loved our stay, friendly staff, comfortable room and brilliant location! We will definitely return again.
There was nothing we disliked
Dukes is in a great location. The front of house staff were very helpful and although we only stayed one night we immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. There were 3 of us and we shared a suite whitch was perfect. Will definately go back.

Perfect location. Close enough to the city centre that you can walk it, but still far enough away to be quiet & peaceful.
Picturesque street & surrounding area to, our room in particular at the front on the top floor was exceptionally comfortable and perfect size. Honourable mention to the hard working man doing everything on his own and being very helpful on our arrival.
Parking can be pricey so had to search for somewhere else to park about 15 min walk away & the bar was pretty pricy.

Hôtel de charme bien situé
Chambre au troisième étage sous les combles sans ascenseur sans climatisation avec un ventilateur sonore et un frigo non fonctionnel dont le sommet etait très chaud apportant de la chaleur supplémentaire. Au total , nuit très chaude et difficile
I visited Dukes Bath in July 2026. A lovely boutique hotel just 7 or so minutes walk from the centre. A warm & friendly welcome from Juan. Our room was clean and tidy, with a comfy high bed. The pick & mix sweets was a great touch. Note: no lift, so you need to have reasonable mobility to negotiate the stairs (our room was on the 2nd floor = 4 flights of stairs). I would stay here again.

I liked the interior design and location of the hotel.
The hotel does not have a parking space in site despite claiming they have a parking. you have to park far away at a sister hotel, and pay £20 per night.
Our room was on the top floor, and on a hot night of summer, there was only a very small fan, and a fridge that was not working and instead was emitting heat all around the room.
The temperature at night was so high, it felt baking. There was no staff on site to call for help after 10pm when we realised the problem. Upon making the complaint the next day, the manager stated the hotel did not advertise air conditioning, but apologised for the faulty fridge.
Overall, the experience was really bad although with beautiful building, it could be a nice one.
