Lovely hotel with a true home from home feel with lovely owners.
Pros:

Very convenient location right in the heart of Polperro with on site parking which is a huge bonus. The owners Chris & Sam have recently taken over and were both charming and engaging. The breakfasts were exceptional and our room (18) was beautifully decorated with feature wallpaper. There were nice touches everywhere from quality tea and coffee, biscuits and little sweets to umbrellas in the porch if required which fortunately we didn’t.

Cons:

The only issue we had through no fault of the owners were very loud neighbours in the adjacent room. Some people are sadly lacking in filters when it comes to consideration for others.

Pros:

The location was fantastic. approx. halfway from Polperro car park and the harbour. The breakfast was very good and you had a good choice.

Overall a fantastic stay and would book again if we a had a garauntee of a room with a proper shower.
Pros:

The location, the free on sight parking, the breakfast and Samantha and Chris.

Cons:

Unfortunately our room was very small and the bathroom had no proper shower, just a hand held thing over the bath. My wife and I both struggled to get in and out. Not good for people with bad knees or back.

Aardige gastvrouw, heerlijk bed, heerlijk bad.
Bij ontbijt de beste omelet ooit! Ik had spijt dat ik een kleine had besteld.

Excellent breakfast choice. Omelette was the best ever 😊

Cons:

No proper overhead shower. You have to sit in the bath to wash your hair.

Pros:

Hotel is very clean and super location for village center. FREE PARKING must be a first for me on a family run Hotel. Would almost definitely come back and use if I was in the area.

Great place let down by one person
Pros:

Waited 20 mins to. Heck in a young make wearing a headset arrived it looked like we had interrupted his game. He did offer the help me with 2 suitcases once he was at the top of very steep stairs!
The next day he spilt scalding tea over my wife!
Great place let down by one individual and is BO!
