I've got asked to pay some unexpected commission during the check in. I didn't understand why or what should I pay it for, but at the time I wasn't paying attention. Later on I asked booking about it and they said that commission is not expected. I asked the staff about it, but they said that they don't know and know nothing about it. I didn't get any invoice or anything. The commission was 15% of the price, more than 100 usd.

everything was really good. the location is amazing, in front of the ocean and with a small, non-touristy beach in front of it. the pool is elegant, curated and clean. the rooms are excellent, with a view of the ocean even from the bathroom. the staff is extremely kind. the restaurant is really really really good. would totally recommend.

Ontzettend luxe verblijf, super vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke bedden, erg lekker eten, mooie uitzichten, de rooftopbar is ook een leuke aanvulling.
Het ligt wat uit het centrum van Weligama, maar met een tuktuk ben je er snel. De straat naar de accommodatie is minder mooi, maar dan kom bij een verborgen parel aan.
