Pros:

We loved the amazingly hospitable staff. From the airport pickup to carrying our heavy suitcases, the welcome drink and the guided tour, it all was very well organized and smooth. The rooms are simple as we expected with a cold shower but comfy beds. This is a great example of real hospitality. After this we checked in to a corporate style hotel and although it had a hot shower, there was no soul. Asim París gives you that!

Lovely staff and amazing experience
Pros:

Very lovely staff, the food was great. The tour in the Jungle was well organized and we saw a lot of orang-outan. They made sure we had always everything we needed during the stay and they also picked us at the airport. I strongly recommend.

Merveilleux !
Pros:

Magnifique endroit avec vue sur la rivière et des beaux jardins très bien entretenus. L’accueil est chaleureux et familial, on s’y sent très vite comme à la maison! Tout le personnel est gentil, serviable et très souriant. Ici, vous pouvez réserver votre séjour mais également les activités de treck de la jungle ainsi que d’autres belles options pour découvrir la région et la culture. Andy, le responsable de Asim Paris est également le guide pour le treck, il partage son environnement et sa culture avec tellement de gentillesse et dans une approche toujours respectueuse de la nature avant tout. Je conseille à 100% de réserver séjour + activités pour un contact facile, un départ depuis le logement et une flexibilité dans vos choix.
Nous reviendrons, c’était merveilleux ! 🦧🦋

Lovely hotel outside of town with fantastic tour guides for the jungle trek
Pros:

The hotel grounds were beautifully decorated and in a lovely setting right on the river. The food in the restaurant for dinner was delicious. The day hike in the jungle was amazing. Andy and Roy were fantastic guides who were very knowledgeable and great with our 2 boys. They found lots of animals for us to see including 4 orangutans. The lunch they prepared was laid out beautifully as was the fruit snack. Highly recommend this hotel for Andy and Roy! Hotel is located a short 10/15 min walk through the jungle into town.

Cons:

My only two comments is there is no hot water in the rooms. Having said that it is not icy cold either. You can also occasionally hear motorbikes in the family room. Luckily it was not too early or late in the day but it was still noticeable.

Csodálatos élmény Bukit Lawangban! 🌿🦧
Pros:

A szállás gyönyörű helyen, közvetlenül a folyó mellett található, fantasztikus kilátással. Már önmagában a környezet miatt is különleges élmény itt megszállni. A személyzet rendkívül barátságos, figyelmes és segítőkész, mindenben számíthattunk rájuk.

Külön kiemelnénk, hogy rengeteg nagyszerű programot is szerveznek. Részt vettünk dzsungeltúrán, ahol orangutánokat és más vadon élő állatokat láthattunk, raftingoltunk a folyón, voltunk falulátogatáson és helyi piacon, felfedeztük a denevérbarlangot, valamint egy fantasztikus, folyóparti BBQ-n is részt vettünk. A programok nagyon jól szervezettek voltak, és rengeteg maradandó élménnyel gazdagodtunk.

Az étterem szintén kiváló: nagyon finom, frissen készített ételeket ettünk, kedvező áron. A szállás összességében remek ár-érték arányt képvisel.

Az itt töltött idő az egész családunk számára felejthetetlen élmény volt. Nagyon örülünk, hogy az Asim Paris Guesthouse-t választottuk, és szívből ajánljuk mindenkinek, aki Bukit Lawangba látogat! 😊🌴🦧

Had a wonderful time and created lifelong memories!
Pros:

Fantastic staff who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Food was great and catered for our needs. Located next to the beautiful river with easy access to the water. Two guides, Nasir and Dika, accompanied us on a trek into the jungle. They were very supportive and caring, as well as knowledgeable about the natural environment and wildlife, so we had a brilliant experience! Other tours and transportation can be arranged and a private car was organised to take us to visit the nearby shops and market.

We had an amazing time!

We had an amazing stay in Bukit Lawang and can definitely recommend this place! We arranged both our airport transfer from Medan and back, as well as our orangutan trekking tour directly through the hotel. Everything was very easy to organize and the prices were really good.

The staff were always super friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the food was delicious!

A special thanks to our guides Ika and Nasir, who made the orangutan tour an unforgettable experience. They put so much effort into everything and even made us a beautiful crown out of plants during the trek. 🌿👑 It was such a nice and personal touch!

Overall, we felt very well taken care of and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! 🦧🌴

Alojamiento y excursiones top
Pros:

Cama grande y cómoda, aire acondicionado y agua caliente. Comida muy buena, quedamos sorprendidos. Para nosotros la ubicación es fantástica, se respira paz y tranquilidad. Está a 10 min de paseo del pueblo turista y a 10 del pueblo autóctono donde está los supermercados y demás servicios. Sin ruido de las motos, no nos enteramos del canto al rezo ninguna noche, tampoco notamos humo de la quema de basura como si nos pasó al visitar el pueblo. Pero con lo que más nos quedamos sorprendidos fueron las excursiones con Andy (guía de Asim paris), reservamos con ellos por la comodidad de no estar buscando guía y creemos que dimos con la tecla. Hicimos varios treking de día completo, y también el nocturno. Lo que más nos gustó fue el conocimiento que tiene de la selva y de los animales, vimos mucha fauna y todos los días orangutanes. Un día nos cruzamos con un macho bastante grande en el suelo, mientras todos los demás guías corrían despavoridos sin tener en cuenta a su grupo, él mantuvo la calma, nos tranquilizó, se puso delante de nosotros para protegernos y el orangutan paso a 1 metro de nosotros sin tenernos en cuenta, mientras que se dirigía hacia las personas que empezaron a correr…volveremos, no podemos estar más contentos de haber elegido a Andy y al Asim paris.

Fijne, rustige locatie, weg van alle drukte
Pros:

De ligging aan de rivier waar je kon pootje baden en afkoelen. Het restaurant was fijn, lekker eten voor een goede prijs.

Cons:

Het is er nieuwe locatie, dus nog niet alles was voorhanden.

Je recommande vivement
Pros:

Tout d’abord le personnel est adorable et totalement disponible. Les chambres sont parfaites avec une vue imprenable sur la rivière. La carte du resto orientée Indonésie et c’est normal mais quelques suggestions pour la western food.

Cons:

À vrai dire rien sinon l’emplacement géographique sur Google maps n’est pas fiable ( venu en moto ) mais tout le monde connaît Hassim Paris.

De locatie is perfect. Vanuit de kamer mooi zicht op de rivier. En direct bij de start voor de jungletour.
Maar vooral het zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel.

Super verblijf ! Niet twijfelen, boeken !
Pros:

Wat een toplocatie en wat een geweldige ervaring hier ! We werden echt in de watten gelegd. Via het guesthouse een 1 daagse trekking geregeld en dat was super fijn! Het eten was ook erg goed en het ligt wat verder uit het centrum maar dit is juist fijn ! Voor is de rivier waar je in kunt afkoelen en achter je de jungle. We hebben hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad en de huisjes waren echt mooi en schoon. Niet twijfelen, deze zeker boeken als je naar Bukit Lawang gaat!

Un séjour inoubliable et unique
Pros:

Nous sommes restées 3 nuits dans la guesthouse et nous avons également réalisé le trek de 3 jours et 2 nuits avec eux.
C’était vraiment génial. Nous sommes parties avec Andy et son assistant Nata.
Tout était super.
Premierement, nous avons pu voir plein d’animaux: 9 orangs outans au total, des mâles ainsi des femelles et également des bébés de très près; différents types de singes, une tortue, des serpents ou encore un écureuil.
De plus, ils connaissent très bien les différentes plantes et arbres de la forêt et n’hésitent pas à vous donner des explications tout au long du trek.
Par ailleurs, nous avons très bien mangé. Les pauses avec des fruits étaient nombreuses, avec des plateaux toujours décorés avec soin. Également des petits en-cas avec thé et/ ou café sont proposés régulièrement sur le site du campement.
Qui plus est, nous n’avons pas eu le temps de nous ennuyer car de multiples activités sont proposées avec beaucoup de surprises.
Ils ont été très prévenants et attentifs à nos envies.
Petit bonus: Andy a un téléphone qui prend des photos d’une qualité exceptionnelle, il n’hésitera pas à faire des photos des animaux avec vous et pourra vous les envoyer ce qui permet d’immortaliser au mieux le moment.
À notre retour du trek, la chambre familiale avec vue sur la rivière et eau chaude était libre; Andy nous a donc proposé très gentille ment de l’occuper pour la nuit restante.
Elle est magnifique et très confortable.

Je ne peux que recommander cette guesthouse et cette agence locale respectueuse de la nature et vous encourager vivement à leur faire confiance.

Beautiful location, wonderful hosts!
Pros:

Loved that it was next to the river, beautiful and quiet place. Easy to go for a swim. Also Andy and Dika were amazing hosts, super kind and informative. We even had a bbq together.

Cons:

The location was great but also a little far from town. You have to walk through a jungle path which was fun during the day but a little long at night.
