The entire property is breathtaking, remarkably well-curated, and aesthetically stunning down to the finest detail. The garden is gorgeous, offering magnificent mountain views—waking up in the mornings to watch the clouds blanket the peaks was pure magic.
The room was simply incredible: beautifully appointed, smelling wonderfully fresh, and welcomed with fresh flower arrangements. The bathroom and high-end amenities were top-notch. We especially appreciated the complimentary minibar and treats, which were delicious and generously replenished every day.
The pool and outdoor spaces were a dream in the warm weather. Above all, the staff made our stay unforgettable—incredibly warm, always smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The location is also unbeatable. An extraordinary, memorable stay!
Everything was nearly flawless. The only minor detail is that pool service could be slightly more proactive, as we had to walk over to the bar to order drinks, but it certainly didn't take away from such a wonderful experience.
What a hotel. Small, intimate, exceptional.
The design, attention to detail. Quiet luxury. Small enough to care. Staff made it.
Everything was well thought out, the service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble.
Very comfortable rooms with a homely feel. The bar was lovely and the staff were exceptional.
Everything about this property was incredible. It is a beautifully curated, peaceful sanctuary where every detail has been thought of.
I loved everything.
Absolutely everything was amazing. It surpassed our expectations and the pictures do not do it justice. The staff are warm and accommodating. Breakfast is fabulous and served only in your room (which is a luxury!!). I loved having such a quiet place to stay, with only seven rooms this hotel feels like a home. We would definitely come back again!!
Everything was perfect - no issues’
Absolutely everything went well. I've visited Franschhoek many times and every time I find new and interesting things and places to stay at but this little gem is absolutely stunning. The furniture and fittings are gorgeous, the beds were comfortable and the room had all the luxuries of home. The staff were absolutely fantastic from the moment that we arrived to check out. It was really too short of a stay and I will definitely be back soon.
The only negative if I'm being picky is that the entrance is very obscure and can easily be missed and you have to park on the road side. We were dropped off so that wasn't much of an issue for us.
