Un havre de quiétude au cœur du village
Pros:

Très joli hôtel, décoré avec soin, on aime les portes en bois et les poutres apparentes. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont appréciables en fin de journée. L’hôtel est très bien situé, à quelque part du Centre.

Cons:

No recomiendo. Lo más grave fue un problema eléctrico que sufrimos durante la madrugada: estuvimos casi dos horas sin luz, con la consecuente presencia de mosquitos al no poder usar ventilador ni aire acondicionado. Además, la electricidad era intermitente —se iba y volvía repetidamente sin mantenerse estable—, y cada corte y reconexión nos despertaba por el ruido que generaba. Esto convirtió la noche en una experiencia muy incómoda y nos impidió descansar con normalidad.

A esto se suma que la relación calidad-precio no fue adecuada. No se nos informó de forma proactiva sobre la posibilidad de estar exentos del IVA; tuve que solicitarlo yo misma para que se aplicara.

También se me extravió una bolsa con objetos de escaso valor. Pregunté por ella y nunca obtuve respuesta, lo cual genera dudas sobre cómo se gestionan las pertenencias de los huéspedes.

Por otro lado, la zona de la piscina no estaba bien mantenida: había restos de limones y desechos, como de cócteles, tirados alrededor.

Por último, el descanso general se vio afectado por la ubicación del hotel, junto a una iglesia y un colegio, por lo que se escuchaba constantemente el ruido de las campanas y de la calle.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Barichara.
Pros:

Perfect location, close to the main square but away from the noise. We had a beautiful king room with Avery comfortable bed, hot water and the biggest walk-in closet I have ever seen. It was nice to cool off in the pool. The ladies cooking breakfast were very kind and helpful.

La mejor opción para quedarse, si quieres estar en un hotel dentro de Barichara.
Pros:

La ubicación del hotel y el buen gusto y comodidad de las habitaciones y el hotel en general. El personal es amable y cálido. El desayuno delicioso.

Comfortable, tranquil boutique hotel
Pros:

We were 3 friends visiting Barichara for the first time. We stayed for two nights at the Santa Sofia Case Boutique Hotel which served as a wonderful, tranquil base for us to explore the town and the area. Location was well situated a mere one block from the beautiful main town square, and from the terrace and dining area there were great views of the church. Rooms were comfortable and well laid out, and mere metres from the swimming pool, jacuzzi, lobby and dining area. There was a well stocked fridge with a range of beverages in the common area available to sign out 24/7. Breakfasts were wholesome and tasty with coffee, juice, fresh fruit and choice of eggs. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was seamless. Parking was available in a gated enclosed space mere metres from the main entrance.

Cons:

Only small issue was showers were luke warm and not hot, but this was more than made up for by all the other positives. We would definitely stay there again.
