We did not have a car. Everything is a taxi ride away when you do not have a car.
We had a lovely stay at A Flor da Rosa and truly enjoyed the peaceful, authentic atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that immediately makes you slow down and appreciate the surroundings.
The property is charming and full of character, blending traditional style with comfort. The rooms were clean, cozy, and inviting, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring.
The setting is beautiful and quiet, perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature. At the same time, it’s well located for visiting nearby attractions.
The hospitality was excellent. The hosts were kind, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and authentic getaway. We’d be happy to return!
There were a couple of minor challenges during our stay. We experienced some issues with flies, and the pool was not active at the time, which was a bit disappointing. Communication with the owner was also a bit tricky, as they mainly speak French and Portuguese. That said, we were still able to manage and the owner was kind and well-intentioned throughout.
Overall, it’s a nice place with a lot of charm, especially if you’re looking for an authentic and peaceful experience.

Lovely accommodation. Very comfortable room with a gorgeous bathroom and very modern shower. Comfy bed. Scrumptious breakfasts. Very friendly and helpful owners. Excellent location for exploring the Coa Valley and area. We will be back for sure!!

Propriétaires super sympas et à l'écoute du client. . Très bel établissement entouré de vignes et d'oliviers. Propreté exemplaire. Grand parking fermé. Grande chambre dotée de tout le confort. Petit déjeuner copieux, de qualité et varié. Les plats proposés au déjeuner étaient savoureux et copieux. Huile d'olive maison.
Profiter d'une piscine mais la construction est déjà bien avancée et sera disponible rapidement.
