Pros:

The castle is a beautifully renovated place where they managed to maintain the historic vibe and feel. The gardens with roaming peacocks are gorgeous and the hotelrooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff.. Great value for money

Wonderful relaxing break which exceeded our expectations on all counts.
Pros:

Ruthin Castle is set in beautiful grounds with amazing peacocks roaming freely. The castle interior transports you back in time and is quite stunning. Our suite was warm and comfortable. The food was delicious and good value for money. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

We had no negative issues at all.

Skvelý zážitok bývať na hrade, odporúčam
Pros:

Bolo to tam nádherné, vo vnútri a aj v celom parku okolo hradu. Priestory hotelu, izba boli krásne, mali sme dokonca vaňu ako súčasť izby, všetko zariadené historickým nábytkom, malo to tú správnu atmosféru. Areál hradu je nádherný, dá sa tam poprechádzať a objavovať rôzne zákutia. Je tam niekoľko nádherných pávov, ktorí len podčiarkli dokonalý zážitok ubytovania na hrade.

Pros:

Struggling to think of anything. Location is OK.

Cons:

Breakfast for supposedly 4 star hotel was very poor. There are no greens, no cheese, no nothing. Just cereal, English breakfast and toast.
The hotel as a whole is simply run down and tierd.

A disappointing experience
Pros:

From the outside, the hotel is very impressive.

Cons:

Inside is extremely disappointing. It felt very bare and not at all grand. The walk to the suite was depressing. It looked like it needed a lot of money investing in it and a bit of love to bring it up to where it really should be. It’s certainly not what it apparently once was unfortunately.
Overall it was overpriced and not good value for money.

Beautiful, comfy and lovely staff
Pros:

Staff are great, super kind and helpful
Beautiful location, peacocks lovely addition, great room very clean everywhere, great shower, comfy bed. We were kindly provided with a cot bed for baby.

Cons:

I think they should have a coffee machine. A simple bean to cup would make breakfast 100 times better.
Breakfast is 8:30-10 and we went for 10 but they actually close at this time so reduced food items etc, they still let us have breakfast but no fresh food around that time
