The hosts were very nice
The room was not as advertised. The beds were cots and not actual beds! Mine was very uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it. There were cobwebs in the windows and ceilings and the bathroom had mold . We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after one night due to the conditions.
The hotel is run by a very friendly couple who did their best to make us feel at home.
Owners went over and beyond.

A lovely, homely feel with incredibly friendly, accommodating proprietors and the food was exceptional. This is a proper locals pub and the room was fully equipped and comfortable. If you want Premier Inn style accommodation, this may not be for you but if you want an experience in a friendly community, this is the place for you.

The Dunroamin Hotel is in a great location amid beautiful scenery.We stayed for 2 nights and found Lesley and Ian very friendly and welcoming hosts. Our room was comfortable, clean and cosy. The food was excellent! Would definitely stay again.

Das Hotel wird von einem sehr süßen Ehepaar geleitet, die unfassbar herzlich sind. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und die Räume waren sehr schön dekoriert und eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Lovely owners of the hotel who went out of their way to look after us - phone us before we arrived to make sure we didn’t miss dinner. Great place to stay overnight and very secure bike storage over night.

The personnel were nice (the lady especially) and the breakfast she made was decent.
Very dusty, not clean and hygiene wasn't upkept. I saw the discharge of mice litter and that was disgusting.
I woke up to a lot of rashes and itches on my entire body and my doctor explained this could be a stung by bed bucks. This is completely unacceptable, and ideally I would like to have my money back.
We got a very warm welcome when we arrived, and when we came down for breakfast. The room and dining room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Full Scottish Breakfast was very good.
As others have noted, the decor is certainly dated, but the price is good, and cleanliness, comfort, food and the warm welcome makes this very good value for money.
