Pros:

Lovely owners of the hotel who went out of their way to look after us - phone us before we arrived to make sure we didn’t miss dinner. Great place to stay overnight and very secure bike storage over night.

Extremely disappointing experience
Pros:

The personnel were nice (the lady especially) and the breakfast she made was decent.

Cons:

Very dusty, not clean and hygiene wasn't upkept. I saw the discharge of mice litter and that was disgusting.

I woke up to a lot of rashes and itches on my entire body and my doctor explained this could be a stung by bed bucks. This is completely unacceptable, and ideally I would like to have my money back.

Clean room and dining, very good breakfast, comfortable bed and a friendly welcome.
Pros:

We got a very warm welcome when we arrived, and when we came down for breakfast. The room and dining room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Full Scottish Breakfast was very good.
As others have noted, the decor is certainly dated, but the price is good, and cleanliness, comfort, food and the warm welcome makes this very good value for money.

All you need for a stay in Bonar Bridge
Pros:

The owners went over and above to make my stay comfortable. I was greeted by name and shown my room and everything was explained about entry and exit. The food, dinner and breakfast were excellent and all I could have wished for. The room overlooked the main road but traffic was pretty much non existent overnight and the views of the distant hills were lovely.

Cons:

Don’t judge a book by its cover. It may not look much from the outside but inside it is a pleasant small hotel.

Disappointing, which was a shame, as the hosts were lovely and the location was remote which we love

Interesting hotel experience let down by an uncomfortable bed.
Pros:

Good, hearty breakfast. Attentive, friendly staff. A good traditional pub atmosphere.

Cons:

My bed was really uncomfortable and I slept poorly. The most important thing a hotel should provide, in my opinion, is a comfortable bed.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the excellent meals provided.
Pros:

Location perfect for us, being on the riverside at the edge of the small town. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with locally produced food . Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our visit.

Cons:

The opening hours were limited although keys were provided once we had booked in.
Rooms were not very comfortable, with little space for luggage.
Access would not suit anyone seriously handicapped, stairs were unavoidable.

Pros:

Hôtes très accueillants et aux petits soins. Beaucoup d'explications à notre arrivée. Très copieux petit déjeuner ( 3 formules sont proposées). Nous y avons également pris le repas du soir et n'avons pas été déçus. Table bien présentée.

A lovely wander into the town of Bonhar bridge
Pros:

The owners were wonderful and looked after us nicely. Thank you very much. The tips for watching the salmon and to go for a walk and see the Stone Hendge were lovely options. So nice for an evening.
