Cons:

Schild, dass Barzahlung erwartet wird um Kosten zu sparen. Da stellt man sich gleich die Frage, wo wohl sonst noch gespart wird.

Traditional and beatifully furnished hotel a little too far from the station

spacious room, decent breakfast, friendly staff

Cons:

a liitle too far from the train station. There was no one at the hotel at 3 pm although Booking.com's information that the check-in could be done 11 am on (there is a sign at the door stating that the hotel is open 24 h. I tried to call someone on the phone, after ringing the bell a number of times; at last, a lady returned my call and presented herself in 10 minutes time to let me in; she pointed out another sign statinng that the check-in time is at 5 pm on)

A big success
Pros:

Breakfast was fine.Anke very friendly.For me, travelling by train, not so handy. But did not bother me,friend living in Sargans picked me always up by car.

Cons:

I called the hotel myself from USA and booked.

Pros:

The host was really friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. You can have more if you wish! 12-15 mins walk to the train and bus station for onward travel. I would recommend staying here if you want to explore this part of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
