Pros:

Lovely property in a historic building. Decorated beautifully, and in a great location for rest before a day of exploring the beautiful city of Budapest.

Cons:

The heating is centralised in the building, so you can’t control the temperature of your room in the autumn & winter months. It was a bit too hot for us and we had to keep the windows open most of our stay - this does the trick just fine - but it’s completely understandable in an older building and shouldn’t deter you from staying in this lovely hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Gisselle Buda Castle Hotel! The location was great, making it easy to explore Budapest and visit the main attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Budapest. Great experience overall!

Ein sehr gutes Frühstückshotel in guter Lage.
Pros:

Unser Doppelzimmer war schön groß und renoviert. Das Doppelbett war breit, die Matratzen wunderbar. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Sehr schönes Bad mit Dusche. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Zudem war das Personal super freundlich. Ein Frühstück mit großer Auswahl rundete die tolle Übernachtung ab. Wir waren zwar nur 1 Nacht da, können uns jedoch auch vorstellen, länger zu bleiben.

Cons:

Manchem wird der nichtvorhandene Fernseher abgehen. Wir haben ihn nicht vermißt.

Adorable boutique hotel in a perfect location
Pros:

We loved the location- quiet and a bit removed from the busy city. We loved our room and the decor throughout the hotel was so unique and interesting. The staff were very kind and accommodating. They even gave us a little bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday! We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended the hotel to a friend who is booking her stay soon.
