Cons:

Er was wel een koelsysteem in de vloerverwarming en wat koelere lucht via een soort radiator. Maar dat is mijns inziens geen airconditioning zoals de advertentie aangeeft.

Pros:

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour dans cette maison du XVIII ème siècle restaurée avec goût. Nous avons bénéficié d’un surclassement et avons logé dans la superbe suite avec balcon. Babette , notre hôtesse, et son équipe ont toujours été à l’écoute pour rendre notre séjour des plus agréable. Petit déjeuner délicieux préparé avec de bon produits ( le pain est fait maison ), toujours servi avec le sourire. Nous avons également pu profiter du magnifique jardin. La petite ville de Monnickendam est très agréable et située dans une région offrant de nombreuses possibilités de visites et découvertes.

Charming hosts in a beautiful building
Pros:

The hosts were welcoming and charming throughout our stay.

Cons:

Purely on a personal note, the third floor bedroom required climbing two floors of steep stairs, which for me was painful. This would obviously not be a problem for a younger person

Alles wunderbar. Frühstück soll natürlich so bleiben. Haus ist ganz einfach schön. Chefin und Chef sind top Leute. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ein unvergeßlicher Aufenthalt

Ein außergewöhnliches kleines Hotel in einem wunderschönen alten Herrenhaus, stilvoll möbliert, dazu ein zauberhafter Garten. Wunderbares vegetarisches Frühstück, liebevoll zubereitet. Der Service und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber sind nicht zu übertreffen. Mit dem Bus ist man in knapp 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Amsterdam, benötigt kein Auto und wohnt herrlich ruhig in dem malerischen Ort Monnickendam.

Pros:

The hotel is really beautiful, you can clearly see lots of attention was paid to details. Very cozy inside, spacious room and delicious high quality breakfast. Staff were very friendly!

Cons:

Isolation could be improved inside, you can hear quite a lot through the room door and if someone is staying above.
