Overall I love the premesis
Pros:

I loved this facility, is clean, stuff is pleasant. The only thing that would be nice to enjoy is a jacuzzi which there is none available. I don’t like to give a bad review because of the behavior of people. I booked this place because I thought it would be very tranquil and quiet but unfortunately it was the opposite. There were drunk people outside my cabin till 1 or 2 AM. There were so loud I couldn’t sleep till 3am, I suppose to get up early for hike instead I sleep in and didn’t hike that morning. I understand it was Memorial Day weekend but I feel there should be a limit on times specifically on a place like this.

Less noise, a cabin that is not attached to another cabin.

A serene and peaceful stay in the pines!
Pros:

The facilities were wonderful! There are so many things to do in the area and at the resort. The extra amenities like outdoor seating, fire pits, pool, walking paths, restaurant on site, pickleball courts made this a place we will return to and recommend to family and friends.

Cons:

I would like less outdoor lighting so we could enjoy the dark starry sky. Maybe some of the outdoor lights could be on timers. Even with the blinds shut it was very bright outside.

Pros:

Tahquitz Pines Retreat was a great experience overall. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty to do on-site. It’s a clean, quiet place that really lets you relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The fire pits were a highlight—perfect for winding down in the evening. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the entire area is just stunning. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway.

Cons:

The Peak Restaurant was a disappointing experience. The staff came across as rude and unprofessional, which set a negative tone from the start.

We ordered dessert to go, and it took about 45 minutes, which is excessive for something that should be quick. When we finally received it, the fruit garnish was clearly old and browning. The overall quality did not match the price at all.

For what you’re paying, this place falls short. It feels overpriced and relies too much on convenience rather than delivering a good experience.

We loved Tahquitz Pines Resort. Will definitely return and recommend. Upstairs room requested!
Pros:

Setting was beautiful, the room was also perfect - great size and lovely decor. We went to Taco Tuesday which was a fun evening - great to have live music. Food was delicious and staff were friendly.

Cons:

The noise - we were on the bottom floor - it sounded like a herd of elephants were above us. Unfortunately one of the nights the guests were up til 2 am. Second night we could hear our neighbors talking and they were not being loud. Also another set of guests upstairs - the soundproofing needs work!
