Great property! The room was very spacious and had everything we needed for the weekend. The pool was great and so relaxing. Super easy to get all around The Strip from here!

Two problems we encountered:

1) The elevators were so backed up one morning we gave up after 20 minutes and had to walk down 31 flights of stairs to the lobby to make our tee time. Our bank of elevators covered floors 29-59 so by the time the elevators got to 31 they were completely full. We had at least a dozen people on our floor waiting and only saw one elevator in 20 minutes. There were 6 elevators available so not sure why only one stopped at our floor but heard a rumor several were not working that morning. I’m 71 so this was a challenge for me.

2) When we checked in we waived maid service for our stay but one day they cleaned up anyway. It looked nice when we walked in but realized they had moved things around, even to different rooms, so had a hard time locating some items. We were looking forward to having our coffee in the room but they had taken our coffee cups which we had requested the day before but did not replace them. Why???

Disappointed with many things:
- valet staff did not help provide directions to self-parking
- Two of the room key machines were unusable
- poor quality in-room coffee
- Kitchen utensils were difficult to get and then was missing many things
- Housekeeping was very poor, always late and slow
- Overcharged (have sent credit request)
- As an exception, a security staff and front desk (during checkout) were helpful

Vdara is my go to hotel in Las Vegas.
It's a traditional hotel with no casino so you have the peace and tranquility of a hotel without the sounds of slot machines everywhere.

The hotel is clean and smoke-free.

Parking is an issue but there's valet parking or availability in Aria next door.

Rooms are clean with a variety of styles with some of them having a full working kitchen as washing machine/dryer.

The Vice-Versa bar is excellent to chill on with great service from Todd, who mixes the best Vespa and Luz who always serves us with a smile.

Try the place out.

I have stayed at 3 hotels/resorts on the strip, and Vdara is my favorite! The service was friendly, quick, and helpful. I appreciated the short walk from the entrance to the front desk and then to the elevator. As a quick note, Vdara is one property on the strip that is non smoking and does not have a casino. However, it directly connects to the Bellagio, Aria, and Cosmopolitan through a short indoor corridor. This worked out great for me, as I could retreat back to Vdara at the end of the night for peace and quiet. The rooms overall were very clean and smelled fresh. The view of the fountains was great and the bathroom was outstanding. I will say that some areas of the room are showing slight wear, but that is expected for a property on the strip over time. It was nothing that impacted my stay -- nothing was broken or falling apart, I am mainly referencing some scuffs and scratches on cabinets and furniture. I also felt the value was great. Prices vary depending on day of week and season, but I have rarely seen it become unreasonable. If you are an MGM member you can also book through them and receive discounts/perks.

Overall my experience was positive except for the check in process, which was disappointing and left a lasting impact on my stay. That episode notwithstanding, I found this to be a great property, with spacious rooms and great proximity to the strip. Ample choices in terms of cuisine, but limited menu for room service. Housekeeping staff is efficient and friendly.

I found the checkin staff to be perhaps overworked, because they were not concerned with guest needs and instead chose to focus only on upselling upgrades. I was also assured something that was never delivered, that further made me question the reliability and credibility as a first time guest. I think the hotel needs to do a better job at staffing the counters, and making the process seamless. The mobile checkin kiosks are there, but sometimes you need human interaction. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with the exception of the check in process which was horrendous.

Big negative: pool was closed You had to walk over to Aria pool which was packed. VERY disappointing.

We stayed in a corner ADA suite. Bottoms of cabinets were pretty beaten up but overall room was comfortable. Kitchen had multiple appliances but was missing the dryer. Coffee pod maker (supply own coffee) but no cups, spoons…. You have to ask for anything if you want to use the kitchen.

Soaker tub was great, also shower. Very little counter space in bath

Bed was comfortable, automatic room shades were nice feature. Entertainment iPad did not work.

All the staff we interacted with were wonderful.

The room was spacious and clean! I loved that it has a kitchen area with a mini refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and big! Also enjoyed the bathroom area. The hotel is quiet for Vegas which is nice when you’re there to relax. The reason why I removed a star is the view. I was facing the monorail which didn’t give me the privacy I wanted. I could also see into the room next to mine. I had the shades down at all times because of it. I would still go back and recommend it to people.

This was a really good choice for us. The hotel is set back off the strip. But centrally located adjacent to Bellagio and sister Aria. It has no casino. No smoking. So much less crowded in lobby. Room was spacious. Very clean. Whole hotel was clean. Service at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Went back with several questions since this was our first time in Vegas. Very helpful. Guys out front were great too. Our room was on the 38th floor and faced the fountains at the Bellagio. View was great. It was quiet. Elevators were quick. Ate at the restaurant there which was just ok. Pool was closed But used pool at Aria and also ate at Proper Eats in Aria. Overall we really liked it.

I had to stay an extra because of a snow storm in NYC. When my wife booked the extra day they charged $210 more than they had it listed on their own site. I went back to the front desk and they change it to the lower rate. When I received my credit card bill I saw they charged me for the rate my wife book and also charged a second charge for the same day and room. I called them and they refused to give me a credit saying I was a no show, and hung up on me. Beware, beware, beware , if you don't watch them they will over charge you.

Second stay here. Rooms are spacious but getting a bit rough. Worn furniture, cracked tile, blinds that don't work. But not having a casino is a huge plus for me as its usually a bit quieter of a stay and you are 5 min walk from 3 casinos. I had a F&B credit that was impossible to use and spent 30 min on the phone trying to sort it out. Keep in mind the places they tell you that are available are not really, or not all items. Frustrating.

Rooms are well appointed with a kitchen, dining area, living space and bedroom. The kitchen doesn’t have any utensils or crockery but these can be requested. The hotel doesn’t have a casino but does have a bar that serves food, a small market and a Starbucks. The lack of casino is nice as it creates a much more peaceful atmosphere. If you do want a casino then there is a connected walkway to the Bellagio and it’s only a short walk to Aria.

The front desk staff is very friendly, and the hotel has a quiet, comfortable interior. One of the best parts is that the entire property is non-smoking, so there is no cigarette smell at all.
Valet parking is smooth and efficient, and the room offered an impressive view. It is also very convenient to move to other nearby hotels. I had a very relaxing stay.

Loved this hotel. Been to Vegas several times and this is my favorite. There isn't a casino, but 250 steps away (yes, I counted) is the casino at the sister hotel Aria. There is an indoor covered walkway to the Cosmopolitan where we enjoyed some meals, and to the Bellagio. There is a monorail between the Bellagio and Aria. I took advantage of early check-in for $40 at 11:00. The room has a mini bar in the refrigerator and a few weighted items for purchase on the kitchenette counter. I did pick up two items to look at them and was charged, but they kindly removed it from the bill. The in-room items were too pricey for me. There is a Starbucks downstairs and a little cafe/market for small food and beverage items including alcohol. Loved the kitchenette with a small cooktop, microwave and refrigerator. There are electric black-out blinds, a virtual concierge where we booked an excursion, lights for alerting housekeeping if you want to not be disturbed or have the room cleaned and rooms are no smoking. We felt very safe and all the staff was friendly and courteous. We were there in February and the pool was closed, but we could use the pool at the Aria. The hotel was modern and clean in a good location. The atmosphere was serene, and the only sounds we heard were airplanes.
