Pros:

Nice location
Pros:

It was quiet and in walking distance to the beach and downtown of Sister Bay.

Cons:

The room configuration was awkward, the bed is very lumpy and they have too many rules for instance: they don’t change your sheets or clean your dishes when they came to tidy up the room. It doesn’t feel like you’re on vacation, it feels like you’re staying at your grandma’s house because of the color of the sheets and comforter are yellow.

Awesome hotel!
Pros:

Amenities were great! The room was so cute and homey. We arrived late for check in and staff was extremely accommodating!

Very nice stay and the kids loved the pools and hot tub.
Pros:

Pools were great as was location.

Cons:

Outdated, kids free yet they charged a daily fee to use a pac-N- play! No pillows or bed for 6ye old- just pullout.

Pros:

The room was clean and quiet. Had a sitting area and table and sink with microwave . Bathroom clean good towels and ventilation. Hallways clean with lovely watercolors of scenes from Door County. Plenty of advertisements for local restaurants and activities. Two swimming pools and a game room and fitness equipment. Nice play area an d a tennis court. Staff was polite and helpful.

Cons:

Balcony faxed a road but only noisy during the day when we were usually out and about.

Enjoyed our stay and will return.
Pros:

The resort is very well maintained and clean. The pool is big and water was refreshing. Nice to have both indoor and outdoor pool. Close to town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I liked the resort. The only thing that could use improvement is how the guest rooms are decorated. They definitely are ready for an update/upgrade. Furniture is well maintained, but old.

I love Door County and Sister Bay but not impressed with Birchwood. Lose the big tub in the room.
Pros:

The location, the facility was clean and although the pool hours were not good it was nice.

Cons:

The older lady at the front desk was unpleasant.
The big tub in the middle of the room is a dealbreaker
