Wonderful staff and amazing location. Short walk to many things including subway train station [Karasuma-oike Station], bus stops, convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart), coffee shops (Ogawa coffee, Inoda coffee, Blue Bottle coffee), bakery (Amam Dacotan), Nishiki market, ShinPuhkan [has various shops, food, etc.], Kyoto museum directly across from hotel. We also loved the hotel had various art collaborations and had a public bath available. On a rainy day, staff provided us with an umbrella.
(1) No private entrance and exit - one way in and out of hotel. (2) We were initially confused by how to put our do not disturb sign since there was no sign to hang outside our door - there was an electronic do not disturb we had to select on the device inside room.

Very good location, near the station, shops and restaurants. Rooms were very nice and spacious. Breakfast was half buffet and you can order a dish too - that was very nice.

Ook een fantastisch ontbijt, super vriendelijk personeel, mooie ruime kamer met zalig bed en fantastische douche. Top locatie: geweldige straat vol chique winkels en de overdekte winkelstraten vlakbij. Lekkere restaurants, voor mij echt de leukste stad van Japan. Super gezellig!

Super Zimmer alles sauber alles funktioniert - wir waren auch beim Frühstück das war ebenfalls köstlich. Spa Bereich und Produkte top.

Everything was perfect! The staff were exceptional, the hotel is beautifully designed, the room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and the housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant was very accommodating with gluten-free requests, which we really appreciated.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in Kyoto. The hotel was well located, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
The only downside was the room, which felt a bit small and overlooked a wall. This was somewhat disappointing as it did not match the impression given by the photos when we made the reservation.
On the positive side, the hotel's onsen was a real highlight. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind in the evening after long days of sightseeing around Kyoto.
Despite the small room and limited view, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for its great facilities and convenient location.
The room was quite small, and there was a real lack of space to store our belongings and suitcases, which made it a bit inconvenient during our stay.
