I booked a single economy room: it was a nice small room with fridge, TV and kettle but it had a shower without cubicle, so the bathroom was completely flooded after showering and it had an unpleasant sewage smell. After the first night, I asked to change room and get a single room with a cubicle shower and they kindly upgraded me to a lovely double room instead.
The hotel staff were always attentive, helpful and friendly and they surprised me with a cake and candles for my birthday!
The hotel location is convenient within walking distance to places of interest and public transports.
The room was cleaned every day.
Fairly varied Turkish breakfast with both sweet and savory options.
Free tea and coffee at anytime.

Pros:

The location is fantastic, with the city's main sights within walking distance. The rooftop terrace is a must-see. The breakfast, prepared by an Uzbek chef, is excellent. The bed is comfortable, but there's no air conditioning, which wasn't a problem for us in July. It's a quiet place, and the mosque didn't interfere with our sleep. I recommend this hotel

Cons:

The view from the window is so bad, a crumbling building opposite. The hotel was hard to find the first time, but after that it was easy. The elevator was tiny, we stopped using it.

Personal foarte amabil, curățenie făcută zilnic, ai acces gratis la cafea, ceai, apă, terasa de pe acoperiș are vedere spre Bosfor. Mic dejun ok.

Cons:

Fereastra camerei are vedere la un zid , îți dădea o senzație ciudată de claustrofobie. Dacă nu vrei să te deranjeze lumina zilei, este foarte bine.

Prin multe hoteluri bune am trecut, dar personal atât de bine intenționat și de săritor ca aici, nu am găsit niciunde. Sunt gata să te ajute cu orice, îți pun până și apă rece (gratis) la dispoziție în permanență, ceea ce nu e puțin având în vedere căldura din Istanbul. Hotelul nu este de mari dimensiuni, lucurile corespund întru totul realității. Priveliștea de pe terasă este de-a dreptul superbă, te poți delecta cu imaginea fostului cartier genovez, deseori acompaniat de cântecul muezinilor.

Cons:

Starea de degradare a clădirilor și străduțelor din jurul locației. Cu toate astea zona este cât se poate de sigură și de pașnică, din câte am înțeles și construcțiile învecinate țin de ei. Cam asta este singurul lucru cu iz de reproș.
