Highly recommended but get a big room.
Pros:

Decent facilities and spec for the price. Furniture and amenities all good quality and good condition. Great location in the thick of things but still quiet. The staff were excellent.

Cons:

Our particular room was very small but I know others are bigger.

A great central base in Istikal/Galata
Pros:

Great location, only a few minutes walk from the green train line (if you manage to get out at the Istikal St exit). Very helpful staff, they provided us with umbrellas to borrow and extra water when requested. The room was a good size with cool decor, comfy bed, great shower and wifi.

Cons:

Be prepared for street noise if staying in this area - it's the price you pay for being in the thick of things. Earplugs were thoughtfully provided and did the job. There was a motion sensor somewhere under the bed that made a clicking noise when activated. Not a big deal, but kind of strange.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft war wirklich perfekt wir haben kein einziges Problem gehabt ! Würden wir auch immer wieder Buchen und auch weiterempfehlen!

if you get a good price deal, go for it!
Pros:

Very central, but on a reserved side street; staff extremely friendly and attentive; interesting design that is never an eye-sore, making the experience unique.

Cons:

Our room had no day light, which was fine, as we only needed to sleep.There was some constant noise (some outside ventilation, I guess), but they indeed put ear plugs in the drawers, which helped. So they are aware and proactively taking care of that.
