No fresh air, unhealthy room, like a modern prison
Cons:

Even when everything is top-notch, sometimes you can't sleep simply because of the most basic thing... non-opening windows! They literally leave you at the mercy of an air conditioner right above your bed and the noise of its airflow. Even though we walk 20,000 steps a day and are completely exhausted, this alone can keep you awake. Having your access to fresh air depend entirely on electricity and an AC unit's filters is an absolute disgrace for such a wonderful hotel chain.
They even gave us an air purifier, but you can judge how "clean" the room's air is by the fact that the device constantly wants to run on its highest setting in auto mode. Not to mention, it's anyone's guess when the carpet was last cleaned—the moment the systems pause for a bit, you immediately start smelling it. Not even mentioning the double bed options of the hotel is looking at a wall very close to the room window which makes it a modern prison

Hotel moderno e molto curato, in ottima posizione vicino a Gion
Pros:

Struttura molto bella, moderna e curata, sia negli ambienti comuni sia nelle camere. La posizione, vicina al quartiere di Gion ma comunque tranquilla, è un ottimo punto di partenza per passeggiare e visitare alcuni dei principali luoghi di interesse di Kyoto.

Abbiamo apprezzato anche la lavanderia, utilizzabile comodamente tramite un’app senza bisogno di monete. Una nota di merito particolare va alla ragazza francese della reception che ci ha accolti al check-in: è stata davvero gentile, comunicativa, disponibile e proattiva. Nel complesso, abbiamo considerato questa struttura un’ottima scelta.

Cons:

L’hotel è piuttosto distante dalla stazione: può essere un vantaggio o uno svantaggio a seconda delle proprie esigenze e dell’itinerario previsto.

La scelta di collocare il lavandino direttamente nella camera, quasi davanti ai letti anziché all’interno del bagno, è particolare ma non sempre comoda. Il problema principale è stato però l’impianto di aria condizionata: la temperatura risultava eccessivamente fredda ed era molto difficile riuscire a regolarla adeguatamente.
