Very traditional, clean and good food
Amazing location, super clean and lots of services
A bit on the expensive side
We had a very enjoyable stay at Onyado Nono Asakusa. Our room was spacious, clean and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. I had read some reviews mentioning that the pillows were quite firm, which we found to be true, but after asking at reception for softer pillows following our first night, they happily provided them and we slept very well for the remainder of our stay.
The hotel offers an impressive range of complimentary extras that really enhance the experience. The spa was excellent and exceptionally well equipped—I genuinely didn't want to leave. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches such as complimentary ice creams after an evening spa visit, probiotic drinks after the morning spa, and delicious free noodles served every night.
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient throughout our stay, and the hotel was consistently clean and well maintained.
The location is very central, right behind the temple and gate area. While this makes it extremely convenient and well connected, in hindsight it was perhaps a little too central for us, as the area becomes very crowded with tourists during the day. That said, it is still within easy walking distance of quieter neighbourhoods, excellent restaurants, wine bars and shops, and has very good metro connections for exploring the city.
Overall, a fantastic hotel offering great facilities, comfort and value in the heart of Asakusa.
The only disappointment was that this was the only hotel during our trip that did not provide water refills, which felt a little out of step with the otherwise generous approach to guest amenities.
This is our favorite place to stay because of the location, facilities and staff.

So luxurious at an affordable price. I loved the tatami mats and bed set-up. Hitting the onsen every night (and even every morning) was so special.
I wish we had slightly more space to put our bags in our room. Felt too close to our beds. But we stayed in a smaller room so that's a given.
