30 min trotz Nachfrage auf einen Kaffee beim Frühstück gewartet.
An der Reception verstand man zeitweise kein deutsch für einfachste Fragen.
Die Bar wurde am Freitag vor dem DFB Pokal um 24.00 geschlossen.
Das Lichtkonzept im Zimmer bedarf einer zusätzlichen Taschenlampe.
Die Fenster lassen sich nachts nicht abdunkeln und es war Ostseite.
Wir hätten das Adlon nehmen sollen, das wäre sogar günstiger gewesen und einen schlechteren Service hätte es nicht geben können.

Lovely atmosphere, great welcoming, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Pros:

This is a really lovely hotel. The renovation of the building and the sympathetic interior design is excellent. The hotel is well located beside museum island.

Cons:

My only gripe would be with regard to the light switches which seemed more complex than necessary!

Highs and Lows. An expensive hotel that did not meet our expectations.
Pros:

A great location ,it was placed near the everything we wanted to see.
Staff - very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very good with a waiter service - a freshly cooked main, fresh tea/coffee and fresh juice as well as a strong offer with the Buffet to ensure all needs are met.
A great bed and shower are essential and this was delivered.
The bar was comfortable with plenty of seats.The waiter was able to make a good cocktail.
The Dieselhaus restuarant was excellent - highlight of our stay,such friendly waiters, the food was delicious and the apple strudle - was one of the best deserts we have ever had.

Cons:

The lightening was a challenge, it was irritating. The cosy room felt dark and not practical.
The toiletries did not smell pleasant (personal others may love it) and there was no hair conditioner in the shower.
The wardrobe space/storage/hangers was insufficient for a couple staying for three days.
There was a insufficient supply of milk (two small pots) and only two tea bags per variety - so for us who prefer black tea just one cup a day and no Earl Grey.no biscuits or hot chocolate - which we have come to expect in good hotels. We could have rang down and asked for more but it would be better to have generous supplies to start with .

Sehr sauber, großes Bad inkl Regendusche, sehr bequemes Bett

Alles da, was man braucht: Wasserkocher, versch. Teesorten, Kaffeemaschine inkl. Kapseln, Bademäntel, Rasierer, Zahnbürsten, Musikbox, Fernseher etc.

Beautiful design on a good location but lacking some comforts.
Pros:

The hotel is truly beautiful, with a stunning contemporary design and a very refined atmosphere. The location is excellent — perfectly situated next to the galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and creative energy of Mitte. The breakfast staff was also especially kind and welcoming, which made the mornings very pleasant.

Cons:

I found the room extremely small and ultimately uncomfortable for a stay of several days. My room was located in the mansard level, with heavily sloped ceilings, and as a tall person I kept hitting my head whenever I got distracted. I visit Berlin frequently, and considering the price point, I honestly believe there are many other hotels in the city offering significantly more comfortable rooms for the same rate.

I was also surprised by the lack of assistance with luggage, as there was nobody available to help upon arrival, and by the absence of 24-hour room service. One evening I returned from a meeting after 10 pm and there was simply no possibility of getting food at the hotel, which felt disappointing given the overall pricing and positioning of the property.
