Fabulous hotel in Old Turkish Style
Pros:

The hotel is hidden close to main streets. There is restaurant hub, close to the bridge, marina and Galata Tower. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nice decor. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends for sure.

A well located and spacious property that would benefit from staff on hand who are more responsive to requests.
Pros:

The room was a very large size and the location was very convenient.

Cons:

We were stuck in the lift on arrival and no staff were on site to help until the cleaning team reset the lift. Not a big fault but also could have been dangerous. Important to note that the property is next to a mosque and three times a day (one at 4:30am and another at 10:30pm) a prayer plays across the city through speakers. This is by no means an issue, it is just worth noting as the speaker is next to the hotel so it will sound like an alarm in your room at 4:30 in the morning.

Büklü Han is the perfect choice for Istanbul!
Pros:

This property was absolutely beautiful. Tall ceilings, clean and spacious. You can tell great care was taken to restore it while also adding many modern features and amenities. Büklü Han is also located in a wonderful location and is walkable to great food and shopping. Exceptional communication with the hosts. Highly recommend staying here!

Pros:

Location and room were excellent. We were prepared for the loud sound of the call to prayer, and although it did wake us up, the room and location were worth that inconvenience.

Cons:

Kitchen linen and more coffee pods would have been great.

Pros:

Excellent facilities, spacious bedroom, living area / kitchen and bathroom. Secure access. Great location for walking and accessing public transport. Terrific air conditioning. Clothes washing machine easy to use. Proximity to restaurants and mini mart.

Perfect location for exploring historical sites in Istanbul.
Pros:

It is a very cute accommodation with what we felt innovative and modern design. It was well equipped with a large bathroom and above average size shower cabin. Kitchenette had all the basics for eating in if required. The property is particularly well located, a stone throw from Galata bridge, tram stops and taxi station. Perfect location for exploring historical sites. Also plenty of restaurants in all directions. Elif, the host, was super responsive. Note though that everything is done "digitally", there was no physical contact or physical keys to the property.

Cons:

We found it was good we had earplugs as the sound of an early morning prayer from the next-door Mosque could be a bit disruptive to light sleepers. And we missed having good scissors in the kitchenette.
