I had the best stay at the Niche Cave Hotel. Its location is convenient, the rooms are lovely and the whole place is immaculate. I was a bit pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the rooms were, considering they’re within cave formations.
I was also able to get great deals on a balloon ride and day trips from the hotel. The breakfast was fresh, and it wad great to sit at the terrace looking out at the beautiful landscape while you ate. 10/10 recommended.
The weather was damp the entire time I was there, so the cave room could get a bit cold, but they had installed a heater inside which was great.
If you stay in Göreme, stay at the niche cave hotel. The rooms are fantastic and worth the price. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast tastes great (maybe skip the deep-fried stuff) and eggs are prepared freshly. Jacuzzi on the rooftop is a big plus.
We just would recommend anyone to stay in Göreme. Yes, the city is quite nice and it's a good base for tours in the region. But the food is SO BAD everywhere! Literally every Turkish restaurant is a tourist trap. All is extremely overpriced. The only good restaurants were non-Turkish ones, such as the Indian restaurants Dalchini and Namaste (when staying at the niche cave hotel you get a nice discount there)
First, the staff was wonderful. The room itself (we had room 103... a suite) is very large and COULD have been excellent. See my negative comment for what I consider a MAJOR defect). The breakfast is very good. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the roof, except for the constantly blaring music for the bar up the hill.
The problem with this hotel is that the owner both didn't pay attention to what the electrician was doing when it was built, and is too cheap to deal with a major problem. That problem is lighting. The lights in the rooms are very dim and he will not add lamps or bedside lights. We were told that since people break them he got tired of replacing them. The result is that the rooms are too dark to read, work, or basically do anything that requires light. After begging, I was finally given some led lights that helped a little.
In addition, ALL lights (except in the bathroom) are on one circuit, so even in a suite with a sitting area it was impossible to have light on in the sitting area while leaving the bedroom dark. This may not bother some people, but since my wife and I tend to have somewhat different sleeping schedules it was a major inconvenience.

Tutto! Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. La camera pulitissima e con tutte le comodità. La colazione top! Salato o dolce che sia. L'hotel é in pieno centro..ci si muove tranquillamente a piedi!
Se dovessi ritornare in Cappadocia, sicuramente prenoterei qui! Bravi!
Il parcheggio c'è ma non c'è..3 posti davanti all'hotel. Bisogna armarsi di pazienza e girare per cercare un posto!
The location is in the heart of Goreme, accessible , Clean , the staff and the manager were so kind to us plus the delicious authentic Turkish food they serve for breakfast! Highly recommended!
Struttura in zona centralissima, molto bella, camera ampia e pulita realizzata nella pietra, bagno con doccia grande. Condizionatore caldo/freddo. Colazione abbondantissima con ampia scelta tra dolce e salato servito in terrazza con vista panoramica. Vasca idromassaggio in terrazza sempre pronta all'uso. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile. Voglio ringraziare di cuore Sami che mi ha aiutato a risolvere un grosso problema con la sim card telefonica turca. Parcheggio moto riservato davanti all'ingresso videosorvegliato.

Tesis cok temiz, merkezi ve calışanlar çok iyiler. Otel çok merkezi, kahvalti başarili, çalışanlar güler yüzlü. Ama 10 puanin en büyük sebebi temizlik
Çok merkezi olduğu için çevrede bir otopark sorunu var ancak calişanlar park yeri konusunda yardimci olmaya calışıyorlar.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The family who manages the hotel truly went above and beyond every single day to ensure everything was seamless, comfortable, and welcoming.
The location in Göreme is ideal — perfectly central. After a full day exploring Cappadocia, it was so convenient to enjoy an easy stroll to the many restaurants and shops in the area.
Breakfast was a real highlight, offering an impressive variety of both Turkish and European specialties, with delicious savory and sweet options. The freshly made-to-order egg dishes were particularly outstanding and made for a perfect start to each morning.
We were also very pleased with our twin rooms which was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully maintained. Throughout our stay, we felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely at home.
It was a truly wonderful experience, and we would be delighted to return again.

We loved it here. The family that manages the hotel went above and beyond each day to make our stay easy and comfortable. Centrally located in Goreme with ample parking nearby, after exploring Cappadocia each day we were able to park the car adjacent to the hotel and easily walk to restaurants and shops.
The breakfast offered a large variety of Turkish and European specialties, both savory and sweet. The made-to-order egg dishes were excellent! It was a very nice way to start each day.
We appreciated the cleanliness and ample space of our Junior Suite room. We felt safe, happy, and comfortable here and would be honored to stay here again.

From the very moment I arrived at reception, I knew I picked the right place. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive. As a birthday surprise, they even offered me a room upgrade, which made the whole experience feel extra special.
The room itself was incredible – designed in a unique cave-style concept with so much attention to detail. Every element of the design felt thoughtful and creative, with interesting decor solutions that made the space feel both cozy and distinctive.
Breakfast was another highlight. It’s prepared right in front of you in an open kitchen, which makes it feel like a homemade experience rather than a typical hotel buffet. And the terrace… it’s just stunning. Having breakfast there with that view is something you don’t forget.
In the evening, the same terrace becomes even more magical – you can relax in the jacuzzi while enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Goreme.
The location is also very convenient – everything is close by: the city center, museums, viewpoints. Overall, the atmosphere, the service, and the attention from the team made the stay feel truly special.
