Location
Unprofessional staff, very old rooms, torn bed sheets, low standards of cleanliness, bad service, not worth the stay although the views and location are exceptional.
Burak and the girl in the reception were super super nice, always there for everything we needed and really made a difference in our stay. Also the shisha staff was amazing. Views are super good and it’s close to Yalikavak marina which is very nice.
Menu could have more options, beds could be more comfortable.
MR.Senan and the lady with at the reception very nice and helpful
The housekeeping was not available for daily cleaning , the prise of the hotel was too high if you compare it to other hotel with same facility , its five stars hotel but the services was not compatible with 5 stars , the breakfast was not taste that much , they charged us for the orange juice and second coffee but the reception lady and Mr.Senan took it off.. beach does have sand if you look for it .
We had a really pleasant stay at Voger Bodrum overall. The property has a wonderful, private atmosphere and a deeply relaxed beach area that never felt overcrowded. The pool area was a highlight for us—the views from it are absolutely gorgeous. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our trip, and you really can’t beat the location since it’s so close to the marina.
The cleanliness of our room wasn't up to par. The bathroom had quite a bit of rust in several places and didn't feel deeply cleaned, and we noticed some stains on the tables inside the room. Also, while the rooms technically have a sea view, it's partially blocked by the villas built directly in front of the building, so it wasn't quite the unobstructed view we hoped for. Finally, it’s worth noting for fitness or wellness lovers that the property doesn't have a gym or a spa.
My husband and I stayed at Voger by the Sea in Bodrum for 9 nights, paying approximately 800 CAD per night for what was advertised as a Delux Suite.
To be fair, I'll start with the positives. The location is absolutely breathtaking. The sea, the views, and the atmosphere are incredible. Bodrum itself exceeded our expectations, and this property truly has the potential to be exceptional because of its beautiful setting.
Unfortunately, the experience did not reflect either the price or the luxury standard the hotel advertises.
The first disappointment was the room itself. The photos online are misleading. The "Delux Suite" was much smaller than expected, and there were several maintenance issues throughout the room. The attached photos show visible repairs and damaged finishes that simply shouldn't be present in a room at this price point.
On our first day, bathrobes were provided. After housekeeping removed them, they were never returned. When we requested replacements, we were simply told that the hotel had run out of bathrobes. We also requested an iron and were given one, only to be told there was no ironing board available.
Individually these may seem like small issues, but together they reflect a lack of attention to detail that you simply don't expect from a luxury hotel.
The biggest disappointment throughout our stay was the service.
Requests were often forgotten, delayed, or ignored altogether. It genuinely felt as though the only way to receive proper attention was to become visibly upset. That was frustrating because I was not raised to treat hospitality staff poorly, and guests should never feel they have to be rude just to receive basic service.
Communication was another challenge. We don't speak Turkish, which is perfectly normal for international travelers.
Very good place , and view

I like nothing about this hotel every thing in this hotel is bad.
I didn't like the property because there is a really small bedrooms and the hotel is not like a pictures. The hotel is in the really bad location because the hotel is in the end of shore you have to go to the end of the road and you can't still reach the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is extremely bad they don't have any thing delicious there burgers are very bad there pizza are very bad the salads very bad nothing in that restaurant is good there chef is worst chef i have ever seen in my entire life the prices is very very expensive. The bar is also not good the bar man didn't know how to give me a beer. And the staff doesnt helpful about anything the first my mobile battery is low and i need an adapter i tell so many to give me an adapter just for few hours they didn't give me they say we dont have at the time i saw so many adapter in the hotel buy they don't want to give me. For example while you need a taxi minimum you have to wait 30 minutes just because they have their mini bus and they are to expensive you have to tired of waiting taxi and then say no problem i go with the bus. The room is very dirty and very small the bathroom is really dirty the shower place is really dirty i was in there for three days in first day the body shampoo bottle is empty they didn't fill it up in three days. The bed is really uncomfortable the shits is really unclear. The hotel doesn't have a beach there is no place for kids to play. They are not professional the reception is not professional i don't know how to say it but everything about this hotel is very very bad and unacceptable and uncomfortable.
Beachfront and see view, massage by a lady from Kyrgyzstan , main waiter was quite polite
At my arrival and check in after very long and tiring flight I wasn’t offered any water or buggy by the lady receptionist to reach the room (room was quite far to walk) but was assisted with my baggage. Room was with dirty toilet and there’s was garbage left after previous guests. When I requested a room cleaning and waited for 1 hour no one came and I asked to speak with a manager. He just told sorry and told he will make it up for me somehow. It took another hour to clean the room. 2 hours it took them to clean the room which should be clean before my arrival. I was very tired and hungry. In room was no milk creamer for coffee (needed to ask , they provided for free). The manager promised a complimentary fruit platter which has never came. At my last day unfortunately I injured myself (fell down) from the stairs at the property. They did not have antibacterial cream and only 4 bandages and 2 cotton pads which were not enough as I heart myself at many places. To reach my room I asked for a baggy they rejected. And I limp to my room (2 ladies from spa assisted me). I wanted to go to pharmacy to buy antibacterial cream and bandages and asked a buggy again, they rejected again. No one checked up on me, no one offered ice .Only after arguing with receptionist for 30 min and sending pictures of my wounds they agreed to provide a buggy. Apart of that at the beach ordered grilled chicken took 1 hour 10 min to prepare (were telling me kitchen technical problem) , but before that I was ordering the same dish and waiter has brought me in 15-20 min. Cleaning was giving me only 1 big towel and 1 small. I asked why, they told me because I stay single. Room menu was very limited (mainly pasta, pizza and burger) room service closes at 11 pm and if you want to go out need to call a taxi as to walk to nearest open restaurants on marina is 45 min. And at the end manager texted me over WhatsApp and asked me to provide a good review. I have very negative memories with this stay.
The property itself is spectacular. The pool and beach area are exactly as pictured and are undoubtedly the highlight of the resort. Breakfast by the pool each morning was also very enjoyable, with a beautiful setting to start the day.
Our first impression was disappointing. The property is quite a long drive from both the port and the airport. On arrival, we were greeted by a staff member who was smoking outside. Although he appeared to work there, he didn’t acknowledge us or offer to help with our luggage. We had to go into reception ourselves to let them know we had arrived.
Unfortunately, the buggy service wasn’t operating, so we had to walk to our room with our bags. On the way, it became apparent that the property is in need of significant maintenance. There were exposed wires, worn-out fixtures, and many areas that looked neglected and in disrepair.
When we entered our room, it was dark, stuffy, and clearly hadn’t been prepared for our arrival. The air conditioning hadn’t been turned on, making the space very uncomfortable after travelling. It also appeared that part of the property is occupied by permanent residents, while the remaining units are rented as short-term accommodation. Sadly, the interior of our unit reflected the same lack of upkeep as the rest of the property, with several signs of wear and things that felt as though they were falling apart. Also our unit was incredibly unclean and needed a deep clean
Great staff, great location, great food. Honestly the best choice in Bodrum.
