Nothing beats it.
Masseria Longa is one of those places that is very hard to leave. The setting is beautiful: intimate, peaceful, comfortable and full of charm. It feels more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying at a hotel, yet everything is thoughtfully curated and impeccably maintained.
Its location is perfect, just a short drive from Otranto and some of the most beautiful beaches in the area, while still feeling like a true oasis of peace and quiet.

What makes this place special, though, is the people. The team is genuinely outstanding. They were always available, always smiling, and always willing to go the extra mile. Whether it was recommending hidden gems, great restaurants, the easiest parking options, or sharing local tips that only insiders would know, their advice made our stay so much richer.
Breakfast was another highlight. Every morning started with a beautiful plate of fresh fruit, and every request was accommodated with kindness and attention. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
No complaints at all.

Experiência absolutamente incrível. A infraestrutura do hotel é incrível e realmente é um boutique, por ter apenas 7 quartos no local. O quarto é super espaçoso, cama confortável e roupa de cama maravilhosa. O café da manhã é incrível - a lá carte e tudo servido com muito amor e carinho pela equipe que está sempre alegre e não mede esforços para entregar o melhor serviço e experiência.
Fizemos também uma aula de culinária que foi super divertida e ministrada pela a dona do hotel que possui muita experiência.
Amei e super recomendo a hospedagem.
A localização é estratégica, a poucos minutos de carro de Otranto e também com fácil acesso às outras cidades.
The staff are all incredibly welcoming and friendly, helping us plan our day activities whatever the weather. They kindly made extra effort to setup our room with a cot and a partition wall in our beautiful room. The grounds of the property are beautifully maintained and dinner at the masseria was good value.
The property is set by a fairly busy road which takes away the tranquility of the property with some road noise. You can’t hear it in your room but by the pool it’s noticeable if you’re wanting somewhere very tranquil.
The quality of the breakfast was average based on the room rate, despite having lots of choice. The internet speed was very poor but being looked at by masseria.

It's a nice hotel to stay a few days. Nice pool area and the staff is caring. Breakfast is really tasty.
Nothing here is a dealbreaker. But a few things kept it from matching the level the hotel seems to position itself at.
The rooms were noticeably humid. Breakfast felt oddly transactional — ordering felt like an inconvenience rather than a welcome. Lunch and dinner prices are steep, and while the food itself was good, the value equation didn't quite hold up, particularly at lunch.
Hard to pinpoint one single thing. It's more a collection of small details that, together, nudge the experience just below what the pricing and presentation suggest you should expect.
Would return — but with adjusted expectations.
