Hotel stay at Baia Taormina
Pros:

We stayed here for 5 days and all aspects about of our stay were absolutely amazing. Firstly I’d like to say that the hotel receptionist staff themselves were all so helpful in helping us find excursions and making sure all our needs were properly met. Stefania was an excellent person in giving us information on where to go for nice places to go see. I would also like to point out how the restaurant staff were very friendly and the service was exceptional. These people I would like to point out as I really liked how they treated us - Franco, Salvo, Davide and Laura. I am so glad that we went to this particular hotel as it was a pleasure staying there and I would love to come back!

Relaxing stay
Pros:

Our stay was okay overall. We especially enjoyed visiting the bar, where Rosario, the bar manager, made the experience memorable. Very friendly and attentive service.

I would like to give a special mention to Rosario, the bar manager at Baia Taormina Hotel.

He is truly exceptional — professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. From the very first moment, he creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and valued as a guest.

His drinks are excellent, and the way he interacts with people shows real passion and care for what he does. Rosario even surprised us with a complimentary glass of champagne, which was such a thoughtful and elegant gesture.

It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely elevates your experience like this. Thank you, Rosario!

Pros:

Uitkijk vanaf het balkon en zwembad over de zee. Hele grote slaapkamer.

Cons:

Harde matrassen. Er zijn 2 gebouwen. We verbleven in het nieuwste gebouw maar ook daar in de badkamer veel tekenen van slijtage.

Gute Lage - herrlicher Ausblick
Pros:

Gute Lage zwischen Messina und Catania in der Nähe von Taormina. Zwei Pools und Zugang zum Meer. Phantastischer Ausblick. Gut sortiertes Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr nettes Personal.
Das Hotel ist sauber, aber schon etwas "in die Jahre" gekommen.

Cons:

Badezimmer sauber aber klein und älteren Datums.

Pros:

Отель больше подходит для спокойного уединенного отдыха. Если вам нужен движ и тусовки, то вам не сюда, развлекухи тут нет. Отель находится на склоне горы, вдали от кафе, ресторанов и магазинов. Чтобы добраться до отеля, нужна машина и неплохие навыки вождения в горах. В отеле есть также трансфер, который надо предварительно заказывать. Еда - завтрак, ужин. Еда достаточно разнообразная. Персонал в ресторане внимательный. В обеденное время - скудный перекус тостами и чипсами в кафе на террасе. Вид на террасе очень красивый, но к сожалению летает очень много ос, из-за чего невозможно там сидеть. Есть 2 бассейна. Пляж очень хороший, но до него надо спускаться по лестнице 15 минут. Пляж с мелкой галькой, море чистое, людей немного. У нас был номер в прекрасным видом на море.

Cons:

надо что-то сделать с осами, разнообразить ассортимент в кафе на террасе

Großer Hotelkomplex mit einigen Mängeln in einer besonderen Lage

Ordentliches Zimmer und gutes Frühstück, schöne Aussicht

Cons:

Die Lage am Fels war speziell, , das Zimmer war nur über mehrere Lifte und Fußweg zu erreichen, der Balkon wegen einem Wespenschwarm nicht zu benutzen, die Auffahrt zum Parkplatz war sehr steil. Der Weg zum Meer/Strand war schlecht und steil. Der bezahlte Preis über booking.com war überteuert

You will be back XXXXX
Pros:

We have had seven nights here in the Bai Taormina Hotel where the friendly staff make you feel part of the family, which encourages the guest to mingle and chat and spend the evenings together. There is a wonderful singer most evenings but she is not overly loud.
The food is all local Sicilian specialties made from scratch in house with a very wide selection of savoury vegetables and pastas and three fresh fish and three meats grilled to your liking. There is an equally impressive spread for breakfast. All presided over by Maitre Dhotel Leo Grasso who went out of his way every evening, to make it special for all the guests including ourselves even organising a vegan birthday cake.
You will probably need a car if you stay here it’s about 6 km outside of Taormina itself and you will want to explore the rest of this side of Sicily. It’s also built into the side of a hill with the hotel on three or four different layers with three or four different lifts taking you up and down the hill side and up and down the hotel.
This elevation gives you the panoramic views of the bay whilst eating breakfast or the sparkling lights of Taormina in the distance whilst having your evening meal.
Did I forget to mention the coffee? easily the best decafinato I have ever tasted and they don’t even charge for it, with breakfast or the half board we enjoyed.
I can’t recommend this lovely hotel enough when I visit Sicily this will be where i will be staying. Well done to all the staff here showing much more expensive hotels how it should be done!
