Displeased with customer service which when there are many options in the area is crucial.

Cons:

I did not care for management. They were incredibly rude when it came to a family emergency. I wasn’t requesting a full refund, as I understand they don’t do refunds, but I did ask for partial credit or at least some kind of accommodation given that this was completely unforeseen. They have a no-cancellation policy from the moment you book. When I explained the situation, they said it’s because their hotel is small but when a family emergency or something outside your control happens, they can at least try to meet you in the middle. They refused, kept the full amount, and were incredibly rude about it.

I would never book here again, nor would I recommend it, especially considering how many other places there are to stay in Roma Norte. They offered me a 15% discount on my next stay, but why on earth would I give them more money after this?

Management was absolutely not what I expected from a place like this. On top of everything, I was contacted via WhatsApp by staff named Maye and Guy Claret, asking me to make payment through their own link. I said I was uncomfortable with that and preferred to wait for the booking platform to process payment, as clearly stated in their guidelines. The whole thing felt sketchy and far from customer-focused.

I don’t recommend this place as unforeseen things happen to everyone, and how a hotel handles that says a lot.

Muy bien ubicado, excelente atención del personal
Pros:

La amabilidad del personal. Maye es una persona que siempre está preocupada de tu estadía, y busca siempre resolver cualquier problema.

Cons:

Es importante mejorar la mantención del hotel, pues es una instalación muy antigua. La habitación donde me quedé se llovió, debido a una fuerte lluvia. Pese a esto, Maye resolvió el problema y me cambiaron de habitación al otro día.

Nice place but expensive
Pros:

Location is top notch if you want to enjoy the picturesque streets of Roma Norte. Typical former private residence turned into b&b. Family-like personal atmosphere, good breakfast

Cons:

I had the single room going out onto the wonderful patio. It was full of mosquitos & I couldn‘t sleep. Not the hotels fault though …
The room was too expensive. With taxes around 350 Dollars.

Beautiful property in excellent location
Pros:

The property itself it’s a beautiful old house in the great neighbourhood full of restaurants, bars , coffee shops and just stunning architecture all around . We stayed in the red room which was huge and super comfortable. Special mention and thanks to Maye who is super helpful and actually added some really excellent itinerary to our schedule we would not otherwise known. All the staff and the owner are lovely people and I thoroughly recommend this place

The staff is exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast they offer is pretty delicious! Overall, the place is very quiet and calm.

An overwhelmingly pleasant experience.
Pros:

The property was very modern with an “old world” charm. The owner,Guy as well as the “concierge ”( for lack of a better term), Guillermo, were the most attentive staff I have ever encountered at a hotel or B&B. They were exceedingly pleasant and helpful, making very appropriate suggestions for possible activities or places to eat. Overall the experience was beyond all expectations. This is an absolute hidden gem.!

This is a charming place with a great staff, but there were too many problems with the room.
Pros:

The staff was terrfic: exceeding helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to be accommodating.

Cons:

This is a charming but very ecletic property: no two rooms are alike and it functions more like an Air B&B than a hotel. The lighting in my room was inadequate as was the closet space. A walll-mounted television stuck out dangerously close to the entrance to the bathoom and the shower was difficult to operate. In addtion, the owner's dog barked repeatedly in the middle of the night.
