A romantic and comfortable stay in a charming historic building with beautiful views.
Pros:

Beautiful historic building with lots of character. The room was spacious, cool and very comfortable, with a large bathroom and a great bathtub. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the views were beautiful. It was a very romantic place to stay, and we really enjoyed our time there :-)

Cons:

The only minor inconvenience was having to climb quite a few stairs to reach the hotel. However, the staff kindly helped us with our luggage, so it wasn’t a problem at all and didn’t affect our stay.

Excellent location few min away from the beaches and old town, spacious rooms nicely renovated and decorated. Jacuzzi in the bathroom, such a special treat after a week of sailing. Having breakfast in the room!
Every member of the staff is attentive and very kind. We highly recommend this hotel and we hope to be back!

This was the perfect hotel for us as a couple looking for a quiet and comfortable stay. This family run boutique style hotel is perfectly located, within a ten minute walk to the old town, the beach, the ferry port and the promenade, but the rooms are sound proofed and it's a quiet street, right next to a supermarket. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, with contemporary decor. The team were especially helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and they were able to book trips where agents failed. They know the places to visit and to eat that aren't known to the Tourist Information Office. Breakfast served to the room was wide ranging and huge, and personal requests catered for. Split also exceeded our expectations. Some parts are touristy but they're easily avoidable and there are some exceptional places to eat and wine bars and craft beer bars. Young people are generally well behaved university types. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, made so especially by A Heritage Hotel.

staff very helpful and friendly, excellent location to all tourist attractions, could walk to everything including boats to island hop. room and bathroom clean and very stylish

Cons:

was great to have the drinks machine for coffee's etc but disappointed about time it could be used, I get up early but had to wait until 8am before having a cuppa, I think its due to the noise - but I thought the rooms were soundproof?? if time was extended by a couple of hours it would be good. would of had breakfast each morning but thought it was pricey compared to ones a 5 minute walk away

Great location with parking next to the old city. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Marta came out to meet us and help us with our luggage. They made sure everything was comfortable for us. The Heritage was very clean with good quality linens and pillows and a comfortable bed. Ivana brought the loveliest breakfast to our room, because the dining room was closed renovation. I've traveled the world and stayed in many places but we really felt that home at The Heritage.
