The avocado toast for breakfast was exceptional
We couldn’t find the remote control to turn the tv off
The staff team here is so friendly! Both Xavier & Giselle were so friendly, polite & knowledgeable! Great service and care. Also loved the decor, the vibe and the amenities. Great hotel! Will absolutely be back
Zahni was super helpful getting me checked in. She went through extra measures to confirm I was who I said I was as my girlfriend was already checked in. I’m glad they are trained to keep their guest safe! Also the lobby was beautiful and rooms comfortable.
My friend and I had the most wonderful stay at the Junto as a belated Mother’s Day celebration. Zahni made our stay even more wonderful as she was so friendly and took such great care in making sure we had everything we needed!
Had a lovely staycation with my best friend to celebrate belated Mother’s Day. Zahni gave us the warmest welcome and made sure we had everything we needed and then some! Sally at brass eye was so sweet. The room was large and super comfortable. Can’t wait to come back
Zahni has been phenomenal throughout my stay, I am so grateful to be welcomed by her warm presence and every need was met throughout my stay all week long!
Loved it! Loved the social vibes from the roof top, coffee shop and all the restaurants had great food!
Very clean, upscale hotel staff was awesome, Zahni was an outstanding staff member that was always willing to help with questions to make our trip better. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be coming back soon.
Hotel was modern, clean, and centrally located downtown. I was surprised that it’s not walking distance to many restaurants. Go to the Short North area for that. The hotel does have many options for food though. Zahni at the front desk was professional, sweet, and accommodating. I’m thankful for the late checkout accommodation.
The room was very clean
The bed wasn't that comfortable
The Junto is definitely a great find! It was close to the venue we were attending over the weekend. Staff were very friendly. The rooms and facilities were very clean and comfortable. This hotel’s use of “books” as a way to provide the check was very clever!!! We even received a book that guests had written in and enjoyed reading all of the comments and messages! What a great experience to give your guests!
Although our stay was good…there were quite a few “missed opportunities “ with this hotel. Upon check in, we had to ask the front desk for our complimentary drink (which is advertised on their website and included within the $20/day resort fee). The young gentleman at the desk kindly told us that there were no complimentary beverages. We had an opportunity to inquire with management and he said yes they do provide complimentary beverages but we’re out of tokens to hand out. It was a bit odd. Later that evening we wanted to head up to “The Secret Garden” and the Brass Eye. We had asked if there were any available seats for the Secret Garden and were told no… it was something we had to book on “Open Table”. We understood and proceeded to visit the bar inside. We then noticed there were only a few couples out in the Secret Garden so we checked on Open Table and ended up booking a reservation 15 minutes later. Again, we found this as another missed opportunity for business. The following evening while we had a drink at the bar, we overheard guests asking for the outdoor fireplaces to be turned on as well as the inside one. They only turned on the inside one. Again, we felt this was another missed opportunity for exceptional hospitality.
Very nice hotel with a lot of amenities. Charlie at the front desk was super friendly. The bartender was great and made an awesome espresso martini!
We had an issue (urine smell) with our room which was reported the morning after our first night. We told the less than friendly front desk person, they said they’d look into it. Upon return late afternoon, the smell did seem to be better but returned w/ a vengeance the next morning. When checking out, I mentioned it to a different not so friendly front desk person, so it could be fixed for the next guests. I was asked why I didn’t tell them sooner (see above), they said they could’ve switched our room. They deducted 1 valet fee which we appreciated. Had the front desk been friendlier, it would’ve been a non-issue.
We stayed here due to this hotel being cheaper than the hotels in Short North. However, by the time they add in all of their fees, this hotel is the same price point as the others and in my opinion, a less desirable location due to proximity of shopping and restaurants. Whatever price you see on the website, add $85/night plus $50/night for valet. Valet was super friendly as well!
Great hotel with amenities including a nice workout facility, bars and restaurants and cozy fireplaces
Great suite (809). Love the rooftop bar and the lobby bar. We had great meals at both. Coffee shop was friendly, efficient (and a bit overpriced). I really like the vibe a lot. Started with the front desk staff and continued through the whole two night stay.
Companion rooms were on another floor, and we knew they would not be as well appointed as our junior suite, but it all worked out fine.
HVAC cycled on an off through the night. You MUST get a setting for medium/high fan to run straight through. The rooms aren't soundproof so having some white noise covers ambient hall sounds.
Overnight parking charge of $50 was steep. I just parked on the street instead.
If you are considering The Junto for your event or stay run don't walk! Our daughter's wedding and reception were at The Junto and many of our family and friends stayed in the hotel. The experience we had, along with our guests was top notch. The hotel is very new, clean and beautiful! Sahra, the sales manager was our main contact and even though the hotel is new she brought decades of experience to our event. Her attention to detail and talent for design helped make our event memorable and truly beautiful! Nicole, who coordinated the food and beverage for our event was just as professional and available for any and all questions. The food was amazing and way beyond "wedding" food. There was not a staff member in any department that was not exceptional. Columbus is lucky to have The Junto and please go any time you have the chance!
We stayed at The Junto for my daughter’s graduation from The Ohio State University and Mother’s Day!
It was a completely wonderful experience! The hotel and staff are very and made the guest experience great! A special shout out to Kieran and his team at the Valet were very attentive to our ongoing needs covering every detail, several times! Also, Jeff at Maudine’s coffee shop made me the perfect cup of coffee based on my particular and a bit extreme of a request this morning after a long celebratory weekend! It was the perfect way to start the new day!
We will be staying at the Junto again!
The short rib eggs benedict was phenomenal. My wife had the maple bacon sandwich. It was very savory. Our server izzy was great!
