The decor and layout of the room

Drafty door i could hear the wind howl through all night, hair in shower at check in, not the most pleasant staff, lack of comfort items like adequate number of towels or spare role of TP
When I arrived at 1:40 the front desk told me my room was ready but that I would have to pay an extra $20 if I wanted to check in before 2:00. I decided to wait the twenty minutes in the lobby while I watched her proceed to check in two other reservations with no mention of this extra fee. At 2:00 as I was walking up to the desk the phone rang and she proceeded to make a 10 minute long call for a group reservation. The whole exchange felt incredibly unwelcoming after dropping over $400 for two nights. I worked guest services for years at hotels and was always trained to focus on the people in front of you and place calls on hold.
Anyways, the rest of the stay was ok, it rained all weekend so we couldn’t enjoy any of the outdoor amenities. At one point I tried to get a couple clean towels and brought my dirty ones to a housekeeper- she told me I’d have to wait until they were done being laundered but she had a whole stack of clean towels with her. Then she never brought me clean ones so we were without towels the next day.
I usually stay at holiday inn type hotels not exactly luxury but come to expect a little extra that what was offered here for customer service… there were enough little frustrations that I wouldn’t return to this establishment.

Loved the vibe! It’s a fun place to stay and was very comfortable.
FYI the refrigerator is only large enough for a six pack. It’s the tiniest refrigerator I’ve ever seen… And breakfast seemed a little disorganized at first. They take your order at the window and then they bring out scrambled eggs and hashbrowns and bacon or sausage. It was fine it was just running behind so there was a large line.

Zimmer sehr hellhörig, umständliche Frühstücksabwicklung ( man muss das Frühstück an einer Art Schalter bestellen) wenn man Pech hat gibt es Wartezeiten. Bei uns war erst um 7.30 Uhr der Schalter offen.
Rezeption macht erst um 8.00 Uhr auf.

This would be a good place to spend a few days. Plenty of things to do on the property. Well appointed rooms. I would recommend staying here. Great value
WiFi in our room was not great and the breakfast was takeout.

The retro feel of this hotel was wonderful … all in colors of the 70’s, complete with a corner disco ball and a great outdoor area with an amazing heated pool and fire pits for after dark.
Bad Policy, see my comment below. Nobody else around to help in the kitchen. The lobby was closed and locked up. It was cold outside, three metal tables to sit on for breakfast. Very unaccommodating! Don't stay here.
Unfortunately, this place has a failed policy with their breakfast service. It's an outdoor walk-up window for your breakfast order. One attendant, who was 15-20 late, took our order, closed the window, and went to the back and made it. Then he came back, took the next order, closed the window, and disappeared. There was long lines of people waiting for their breakfast. Terrible! Some people were waiting, others just left and walked next door to IHOP...
