Good for the cheap price to be so close to downtown.
Pros:

The location and staff were excellent.

Cons:

The lack of space to hang my clothing. The mini fridge made a horrible screeching noise that would come and go all night.

great place will definitely stay again!
Pros:

The staff are very friendly and very helpful. the breakfast was great. the room is very comfortable. nice and close to a walking/running track. the washing room was clean and the machines fast. parking was a dream.

Cons:

the times to use the pool were a bit discouraging. for those wanting a swim before the day begins, can't until 10am, and while you could swim till 9pm. we personally like it better at the beginning of the day.

Avid is a nice hotel. It was close to the sights of Fort Worth.

Lovely stay, free parking - close to downtown and stockyards.
Pros:

Exactly what we needed. Big room with shower, 2 x double beds. Free Parking and about 10 minutes from Stockyards. Would highly recommend.

Free breakfast too, and we were slightly late for it but they still accommodated us. Stay here, you won't regret it.

Cons:

Nothing really. Limited wardrobe space perhaps, but clutching at straws a bit. It's basic don't get me wrong - but serves a purpose.

Pleasant stay.
Pros:

The breakfast was decent. Preferred pancake or waffles which were unavailable.

Cons:

I stayed during Memorial Day 2026. I was charged 75.00 for incidentals that l didn't have. It is now July 11, 2026 and l have not received my refund of $75.00. If this is how you treat your patrons, l don't plan to stay at your facility in the future. I will not recommend your facility to family or friends.

It was excellent!
Pros:

The breakfast was wonderful! Kids loved it. Presentation great! Location was right in a residential area which was different but was fine.
