Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Northwest

Unfortunately, we were in Florida for a funeral.
The positives:
Your staff was very kind and sympathetic.
The gentleman that tends to the breakfast area was polite and kept that entire area immaculate. In fact, we have never seen a better kept breakfast area.
Lobby was clean and welcoming.
Though our room and bathroom was clean - it smelled foul as if there had been a dog in there. We both sneezed and got congested. To their defense, we didn't complain as we didn't have the ambition to do so as we were grieving. Additionally, the family was within close proximity of each other.
However, it is important to mention because people do have allergies to dogs. There should be rooms that are definitely free of pets.

Pleasant and professional reception. Knowledgeable about their product and craft. Always engaging and responsive. I wish the food was more fullsome and greater choices available. Same for the business center and supplies. As an example No toothbrushes were available.

Clean rooms, friendly service and very quiet all through the hotel! Georgene is so kind and always happy to help. I love staying here!

The Tamarac stay was for a high school graduation. Overall it was an excellent experience. Hotel is pristine. Staff is pleasant and professional. Stacey at the front desk is phenomenal. At one point there was an issue with my reservation which was inadvertently canceled. Rather than switch to another hotel, Stacey was able to work it out so all of our family members could stay at the Fairfield Inn.

Only negative is the complimentary breakfast. Marriott is known for their food. This was a huge disappointment.
Selection did not vary from day to day or week day to weekend.

Bottom Line: Family members that we would stay at this venue again.
We would just purchase supplemental food items at Publix.

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms were clean, the staff was very accomdating. They never hesitated to assist with any of our requests and the breakfast was fresh every day. Great hotel.

I've been here for a while now, and the hotel is always so beautiful and clean!
The staff is the best ever! Cordial, so helpful, and always willing to accommodate.
The outside grounds and attached golf course are so beautiful & relaxing to spend time in.
The free breakfast is always delicious, and the gym is always so cool and comfy to work out in!
My first recommendation if you are looking for a place in the area, on a business trip, or just looking for a relaxing vacation!!!

Very great experience, the best experience I have had at a Marriott location. I was given a complimentary upgrade at request. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very helpful.

I had a very pleasant experience with my family all through the staff, amenities, and quality of the rooms. The breakfast was good, staff were very kind and attentive, and the kids enjoyed the pool very much.

Had a great stay! The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing. Everything exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back!

My only problem was the air conditioner stopping and starting. I got extremely hot when it stopped and when it started back it would awaken me if I had fallen asleep

Clean rooms and bathroom. Great breakfast! My only complaint is the bed gave us back pain.

The overall experience at the hotel was fantastic, the front desk personnel, specially Michelle and Samuel, they were so kind with us, the only thing that I suggest to improve is the breakfast, it’s average, but may be better.

Everyone was nice, the hotel was clean, and the hotel is in a nice area. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

New, close to family members

Decent hotel,
Clean and spacious 2 queen beds.
Stayed for 3 nights.
Requested extra blankets which were promptly delivered to the room.
Breakfast was included which was
Bread, bangles, scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles..
The usual muffin, cornflakes, milk n yoghurt.. And sum fruit.

The pool was small and disappointing.. Without a jacuzzi..
However the room had a comfortable bathtub.

We had a very unexpected incident with a VRBO host declining our check-in due to an “overbooking” error. So VRBO (the company) offers to put us up in a hotel for the night. We needed to be close to a 6:15am PETscan appt; therefore, VRBO gave us 4 hotel choices near the medical appt. We chose Fairfield Inn and Suites and were VERY pleased.
Stacey, the Front office manager, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs after such a debacle with the VRBO host. We even stayed a 2nd night, on our own dime, even though it was 40 mins away from the Dr/hospital that we came to Florida for.
The room was exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds and the breakfast was good. If ever in the area again, we would definitely stay at Fairfield again.
