Just okay - not the best, not the worst
Pros:

Convenient location for my needs

Cons:

Parking is a HUGE PROBLEM
I had to park down the street at another property
I should have just parked across the street at the parking garage- same charges would have applied, $20 per day

Security could be another problem- second floor door to outside always open - giving access to all floors

Great location for exploring Downtown St Pete
Pros:

Just a few streets away from the action, the Galaxy Hotel is in a quiet area - easily walkable to most of what downtown St Pete's has to offer. Beds were comfortable (honestly the main thing as I'm not spending a ton of time in the room aside from that!)

Cons:

I know rain head showers are popular, but as someone who doesn't want to get their hair wet every day I prefer a shower that I can direct a little more. It would have been great to get complementary water each day, not just on arrival, but we were able to fill our bottles on a different floor of the hotel.

The other thing, which I'm not sure was any fault of the hotel or not -- I booked via booking.com back in February, got all the confirmations. But on arrival at the hotel they had no record in their system of the reservation. Ultimately they were able to resolve but I could certainly have done without those 20 mins of wondering if I was going to have to look for another hotel at 11.30pm

Nicht schlecht, ist meiner Meinung nach jedoch kein 4-Sterne-Hotel.

Cons:

Sauberkeit solala, Zimmer war nicht bereit bei check-in.
Der Herr an der Reception gab mir dafür „ein Upgrade“ und gab mir das „Luxuszimmer“ nebenan. Dieses war nicht luxuriöser als das ursprüngliche Zimmer; das Putzpersonal liess mich kurz reinschauen. Ich werde einfach nich gerne angelogen.

Wasserdruck war einmal zu niedrig, wurde jedoch innerhalb von 8 Stunden repariert.

Pros:

Location and balcony

Cons:

Hallways very noisy with doors slamming. Coffee shop closed. Check-in girl wasn’t very informative about what the hotel had to offer or didn’t offer.

Great location
Pros:

Great location and walking distance to downtown and attractions. Loved having a balcony with a great view of the water. Coffee shop in lobby was a bonus. The staff was very nice.

Cons:

The room came with no extra amenities - only soap and shampoo. 1 side of the bed had a deep indentation - needs to be replaced. The fridge in the room didn't work. The bath towels were thin and very small. Lastly - parking we had to park on the next block at their sister hotel - didn't seem very secure. It had a gate you had to key cared in but the back was wide open and on the back side of the building.

Excellent location for our planned activities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was not completely cleaned. Coffee maker had old coffee in it and coffee pod still in machine. No body wash in shower. Dirty floors.
No one answering front desk calls on two different days. In room Wi-Fi was unreliable.

Pros:

Loved the location! Walking distance from everything! The staff was wonderful and the room was gorgeous and clean. Beautiful hotel

Cons:

Didn't like that our door was left wide open by housekeeping. We discovered this upon returning from lunch. Noone was around and thankfully nothing was missing. Also, they need to add a conditioner bottle space in the shower.. For the price , a dresser or more storage for clothes should be in the rooms.
