Freshly renovated in 2025, Mountain Vista Hotel invites you to experience the perfect blend of contemporary comfort and mountain charm. Located among the stunning peaks and valleys of West Yellowstone, Montana, just a few miles from the West Yellowstone entrance to Yellowstone National Park. 44 well-appointed guest rooms. For the 2026 season, stays are available from May 15th through October 15th.

Important information:

Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Pros:

Location was good; the size of the room was small and the bathroom was small. Was happy that the rooms were clean. The breakfasts were good and efficient. Laundry facilities were located at the campground and were not convenient to the hotel and were too pricey. If I recall correctly, the TV wasn't a smart TV so we weren't able to stream any of our favorite shows or apps. Loved the staff.

Cons:

The beds could have been more comfortable and the rooms could have been larger for more comfort.

Mountain Vista: Einfach nur schlecht!!!

Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden und werden nicht extra berechnet.

Als wir in unser Zimmer kamen, sah das Bett benutzt aus!!!
Uns wurde versichert, dass das Bett neu bezogen sei, aufgrund unserer Beschwerde aber nochmal gemacht würde. Das Brett wurde nicht nochmal bezogen und wir hatten das Gefühl, in bereits benutzte Betten schlafen zu müssen. Leider war wie so oft West-Yellowstone ausgebucht, wir hätten auf die 1.500€ für 5 Nächte gepfiffen und was anderes genommen, hat leider nicht geklappt. Nach vier Nächten sind wir dann geflüchtet!
Es gibt keinen Zimmerservice!!!
Das Zimmer wird während des Aufenthaltes nicht "gemacht". Auf Nachfrage gibt es neue Handtücher, keinerlei Reinigung oder Wäschewechsel. Uns wurde erklärt, man wolle unsere Privatsphäre nicht stören! Lächerlich!!! Hier wird das Reinigungspersonal eingespart, sonst nichts!!!
Das Frühstück war für uns nicht genießbar, haben es nur einmal genutzt.
Für uns nicht der erste Besuch im Yellowstone, aber sicher der letzte in diesem Haus!!!

Clean and comfortable but very small bathrooms and very thin walls.
Pros:

Staff was nice, breakfast was good, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The bathroom was way too small! And the walls were very thin. You could hear everything going on in the hallways and the bathroom. There is no elevator in the hotel so do not stay on the second floor if you are a senior citizen.

It was very nice after a long day of driving.

Confusion about payment details. I was told that since I booked with a 3rd party I would not get a price breakdown.

Tried to find it here on your site and all I saw was a total. No breakdown of taxes and fees,

Base pour West Yellowstone
Pros:

La proximité de West Yellowstone et un prix réduit pour la région mais toujours élevé pour un motel. Le petit déjeuner très correct

Cons:

L’insonorisation de l’étage avec la chambre au dessus qui semble vous marcher dessus. Et le matin les premiers qui déjeunent à 6:00 et parlent fort et que l’on entend parler.
