Pros:

Poor Communication
Pros:

My experience with this hotel before my stay has been disappointing.

I needed assistance with my reservation and reached out through multiple email addresses over several days before finally receiving a response. The lack of communication was frustrating and made me feel like communication with my issue wasn't a priority.

When I did finally receive a reply, I was told that because I had booked a non-refundable rate (which I did know about at the time of booking), my reservation could be canceled, but no refund would be issued. I was eventually offered to cancel the reservation and receive a very small refund.

I understand that hotels have policies, but I was disappointed that no flexibility or goodwill exception was considered, especially since my reservation isn't until October and there's still plenty of time to rebook the room. This, coupled with the extreme delay in communication, has soured my experience before it's even begun.

Timely communication and a willingness to work with customers make a significant difference, and unfortunately, that wasn't my experience.

I'm still planning to stay at the hotel and hope my experience during my visit is much better than the customer service I've received so far. If it is, I'll gladly update this review.

Great place to party by the hotel or just crash after a night out.
Pros:

We recently stayed at Level Fulton Market for a long weekend getaway with our family. We booked a two-bedroom Junior Suite because traveling with a child is much easier when everyone has separate sleeping space while still sharing a living room and kitchen.

Overall, the property is modern and attractive, but our experience was disappointing enough that we would not stay again.
A few things prospective guests should know:
Staff were generally polite, but hospitality felt lacking. We never encountered anyone outright rude (with the exception of the staff member knocking on doors at checkout time), but whenever we needed assistance, there seemed to be little interest in finding solutions.

We booked through Hotels.com as Platinum members, which advertised property benefits including waived daily fees, food and beverage credits, and room upgrades when available. These perks were confirmed in our reservation email but were not honored. While not a dealbreaker on their own, it's worth noting for anyone booking through Expedia or Hotels.com.

Before arrival, the hotel requires a registration process that involves emailing copies of your ID and other personal information. The requests arrive separately after booking and warn that your reservation may be canceled if they are not completed. While I understand the property is likely trying to prevent unauthorized parties, the process felt cumbersome and less secure than expected.

Ironically, despite these measures, parties still seemed common throughout our stay. Multiple units appeared to have large gatherings, and the pool area frequently had groups drinking and smoking, making it difficult for our child to enjoy the amenities.
Housekeeping was another disappointment. Despite a four-night stay, no service was available—even when requested. Trash accumulated in the kitchen because there were no extra bags or designated place to dispose of it, and we had to visit the front desk daily for fresh towels and coffee. There were also no bottled water options or ice machines, only a single ice tray in the freezer. For a property marketed around apartment-style accommodations, the kitchen amenities felt surprisingly limited.
Our biggest issue, however, was the room itself.

We reserved a two-bedroom Junior Suite. Instead, the second "bedroom" appeared to be more of a small den with a bed added. The room was so tight there was barely enough space to walk around the bed. More importantly, it had no closet, no window, and—most critically—no HVAC supply or return vent that we could identify.

Within an hour of closing the door, the room became unbearably hot. Leaving the door open wasn't a practical solution because it opened directly into the living area, which featured floor-to-ceiling windows without blackout shades. We asked the front desk for assistance and later requested a fan, but no solutions were offered.

Finally, be aware that the hotel sits immediately adjacent to active Metra and Amtrak tracks. The passing trains themselves weren't especially disruptive, but the repeated train horns throughout the day and night were surprisingly loud, and the building seemed to offer very little sound insulation.

All in all it just made for a pretty rough four days for everyone involved. Traveling solo I could have handled it. A guys weekend of drinking and partying - this is the place to stay. Wanting a crash pad, also 10 out of 10 - if you just want to feel better about spending a lot of money for such a circumstance.
But for a family or folks wanting any sort of hospitality experience or relaxing stay, I would strongly suggest elsewhere.

Poor Communication, Difficult Check-In, Rude Staff and Missing Refund Money
Pros:

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Level Chicago Fulton Market was extremely disappointing from start to finish and I felt I had a duty to report so others don't experience what I did.

The problems began with check-in - we were in town for my nephew's graduation and since my 78 years old mother and I were the last to arrive, I exchanged my reservation at the Peninsula with my sister, who had booked the Level Fulton Market. She added me to this reservation and I made sure to call Level in the afternoon, to guarantee all was clear and in order for our late arrival. Around 1am when we get to the place an incredibly rude front desk person suggests we could not check in as my sister had failed to complete their basic pre-check in process... she had the notes of my call and late arrival, but did not know how to explain that nothing was mentioned about a pre-check in process, which I could have done if requested. After suggesting she would cancel my reservation, that I would not be able to check in and that she would not "argue with me" (although she was raising her voice and kept repeating "there is a pre-check in process that has not been completed" as if she was a robot) she finally contacted someone that thankfully have her instructions on what to do to check us in *let me remind you, this was 1am!
As we get to the room, only the bed was made - the pull out couch was not open & did not have any sheets so we had a terrible night & not much sleep (listening to party people in the hallway and a train that runs very close to the property).
We were not given any orientation on the property, which made me take 8 flights of stairs the next morning, since I did not know how to get the elevator and no one would pick up my calls to front desk. We had only been giving 1 ley (despite of being 2 people) so I had to leave hoping they would let me in when I came back...
Communication was poor, and it often felt like there was no sense of urgency or care in helping guests resolve issues. Customer service throughout my stay was extremely disappointing. Getting answers was difficult, follow-up was inconsistent, and I frequently felt like I had to chase staff for information rather than receiving proactive assistance. I have never stayed at a Motel 6 but would think you get better customer service in any roadside motel then at this property - staff just doesn`t care.

If all this wouldn't have been enough, now that I`m back home and checking my credit card for the refund of the deposit that I was required to leave, I realize billing and refund process might just be the next issue... I wasn`t given any copy of any paper at check in or check out and was certainly expecting a full refund of the USD 676.01 deposit made. To my surprise, today there's an expected USD 600 pending in my card. Despite multiple attempts to get clarification via phone and being directed to an email that bounced back, I`m yet to get a call or reply from someone at Level. When a company handles guests' money, transparency and responsiveness are essential, and that has not been my experience.

I hope this review helps other people to avoid this place at all costs! Worst experience I have ever had staying at a hotel (if we can call this place a hotel, as it might be more like a dorm, catered to young/noisy people who probably have no customer service expectations).

Clean and great building. Terrible front desk man who makes check in feel hostile
Pros:

The room was clean and well organized

Cons:

The man working the front desk was awful. He was annoyed that we asked to leave our bags (2 hours before checkin) with the front desk. Then he would literally ignore us when we asked basic questions. Our friends checked in after us and also had a terrible time checking in with this guy.
