Our new home for Merlefest Weekends!
Pros:

The room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly when we checked in. There was outstanding coffee in the lobby, and the free fresh cookies were a nice treat. Also, we enjoyed our breakfasts both mornings. Lots of healthy choices were available. (And I found a way to indulge, and still be healthy. Granola -stuffed waffles. The waffle batter and the waffle irons were both up to the task. In all likelihood, we will want to stay there again for next year's Merlefest.

A great start to the Blue Ridge Parkway
Pros:

The breakfast was exceptional - anything you could want for breakfast and good coffee, too! The furnishings were tasteful and comfortable for more than one person. I liked the fireplace in the breakfast room and the bird-filled woods behind the hotel.

Cons:

We wished there could be a fan in the bathroom, change to give to the maid (if you're not tech-savvy to use cashless), and bananas for breakfast.

Great place to stay in Boone
Pros:

The hotel was beautifully and efficiently designed. The public areas and room was exceptionally clean and well-managed. The breakfast buffet offered extensive, tasty choices. The hotel was located minutes from the area’s attractions.

Cons:

The busy road can be difficult to exit onto, but that doesn’t reflect on the property.

Very nice, newer hotel overall
Pros:

Clean and comfortable and the breakfast was the best ever at a hotel! So much to choose from and polite staff. The pool looks beautiful but we didn’t use it. Boone is a stunning area.

Cons:

It’s right on a busy road, which the pictures don’t show.
