Good hotel to stay at.
The surrounding area wasn’t what we expected. couldn’t go walk around.
Staff is nice and polite
Room was really small, there’s no mirrors in the room. Bathroom was extremely small, had no light and it looked really dirty and rusty
Room was good size. Bed was comfortable.
The room door was missing the safety guard. The carpet was old and musty.
Gabriel is an outstanding manager. When a car accident happened right outside our window, he immediately checked in to make sure we were okay and took care of everything we needed. His thoughtfulness, courtesy, and exceptional customer service made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and excellent security. We rented a car, and it was safe in the parking lot. On top of all that, this is an affordable option in San Francisco so that you can truly enjoy all the city had to offer! . We truly appreciate Gabriel’s care and dedication.
The historical factor.
The beds slept well.
I really appreciated the authenticity of the property in this slowly gentrifying area of San Francisco, but the interior was a wonderful surprise with fun modern decor. I loved the my executive king room with very clever use of the space which stored all my belongings very comfortably. The toilet paper holder was awkwardly placed, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Towels, bath products and bedding were wonderful, and the room was clean. Great free breakfast with locally made pastries and fresh fruit. All hotel staff were friendly and special shout out to Sam who referred me to some great local restaurants. But the noise from my street facing room was awful- random music blaring, sirens and rumbling vehicles made for 2 nights of lousy sleep. So definitely get a non street facing room unless you are a exceptionally strong sleeper or have a serious pair of ear plugs

The bathroom in our room was the only thing updated about our room
Parking is very tight and only accessible from one side on a one-way street. The hotel needs updating with their carpet and stairway. Coming down the stairs from the second floor there was a couple stairs that kinda moved and I was like oh these could fall through. The room that I reserved and paid for online is not the room that I got I was supposed to have two double beds and instead I had one double bed.

I thought it was a hotel but I ended up in a motel-six style room, with single pane louvers that made me feel like I was right on the street. Both check in and check out was weird - front desk vibes. The bed was comfy. The bathroom atrocious. Cleaners did not replace coffee. Wouldn’t matter if breakfast wasn’t so bad.
The room was amazing I know the hotel can’t handle the outside situations, but inside you must give this hotel a chance, the room was one of the best, and kudos for the reception personal, there are so professionals and helpful
Not and issue but it will be a plus to have a fridge in the room
