This La Quinta location is so close to being an exceptional motel.
Pros:

Good location, very friendly staff and comfortable room and great breakfast.

Cons:

Carpets appeared worn which made them look soiled.
We noted that our room’s carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed as we found potato chip crumbs on both sides of our bed!
At times, rough looking individuals hanging out at the entrance to the hotel was not inviting.

It was ok. Had worse experiences.
Cons:

Sounded like we had elephants walking over us all night both nights. First night I called the desk to complain, nothing changed. Second night, I didn't bother. The noise was terrible.

Ease of checking in and settling in. Thank you for such a nice room.
Pros:

Didn't have breakfast; wasn't aware you offered it. Had breakfast at Henreys, highly recommend it.
Front desk staff were exceptional. We didn't like our original room assignment because of a barking dog next door. Perhaps you shouldn't put non-pet customers right next door to those who bring pets! The front desk clerk gave us a new room on the non-pet floor. Quieter, except the walls are thin and we could hear neighbors' TV, and the godforsaken planes overhead. Had I known the hotel was on a flight path, i would have booked elsewhere; then I realized maybe that is why the nightly fee was a bit less! Haha, planes weren't that bad after all! Bed comfy, shower was divine, and we were all around fine EXCEPT: What moroon designed the placement of the bedside lights!! Both of us tall people banged our heads painfully on them just reaching for an item on our nightstand. Hollly crap, did I curse; it really hurt. Thanks for asking!

Cons:

See above, and the carpet is tired and a bit smelly throughout; perhaps it's time to replace.

We enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel was convenient to the activities we had planned.
Pros:

Breakfast was enjoyable with the exception of the bananas. Each day they were softer and brown. I would have liked to see fresh bananas each day of my stay.

Cons:

The television in the room had an issue at times. On certain channels, the audio and video were not in sync. I understand that it probably is not something that can easily be fixed by hotel staff.

Pros:

Everything was great: staff were so happy and helpful, room cleanliness was spot on, parking was so easy, breakfast was good as well!
