It was a family reunion and the location and access to the beach is the best of the entire island.
Pros:

Staff was friendly, access to the beach is superb and the 2 restaurants are fantastic.

The restroom and balcony is dated.

Elevator that was right outside my room was out of order. That was very inconvenient being that if it did work we would not have to walk the whole distance twice.

They had everything it was so comfy fresh and clean the rooms really big and spacious you literally walk to the beach the pool is very clean doesn’t smell bad or anything I would stay again definitely recommend yall to try it out..

MUY AGRADABLES ESTANCIA , GRACIAS.
Pros:

Desayuno rico, aunque falta algo de variedad en almuerzo, habitación faltan colchas mas gruesas, el elevador muy saturado solo funcionaba uno, estaría bien servicio de bebidas y comida a la playa.

Old hotel
Pros:

The only good thing is the location, but to be honest, being at South Padre Island, almost every single hotel is located at the beach or very close by.

Cons:

Very old hotel, looks like nothing was updated in years.
On arrival only one elevator was working, at check out both elevators were out of service.
The ATM wasn't working either.
Everything is old, definitely this hotel needs a total renovation asap

Falta Mantenimiento
Pros:

La ubicación es genial, cerca de playa, y lejos de la multitud

Cons:

Tengo muchos años yendo a ese hotel y esta ocasion las instalaciones estaban muy mal, solo un elevador funcionando y ese elevado, uno de los dias, no tenia boton para llamarlo, entonces tenias que esperar a que pasara por el piso y se detuviera para poder subirte, era evidente la falta de mantenimiento, pintura, etc en general

We stayed here last year and loved it! This year, it definitely needed some improvement!
Pros:

Breakfast is always amazing and we love the location

Cons:

The people above us constantly stomped and it sounded like they were moving furniture around all day and for most of the night. Several times something in the hallway slammed into the wall hard enough to rattle things in our room. Did not like the fact that they got rid of security. My husband was woken up at 4 am to the sound of mariachi music.

Clean facilities, awesome beach access, no issues.
Pros:

Easy access to the beach, the breakfast was great, and the hotel was kept clean.
