It is not a simple recommendation it is a absolute DO NOT MISS!
Pros:

The hotel sits at the perfect spot just by Canal Str., meaning you are just on the beginning of the french quarter. So just by there minus the loudness which can be a big deal. The facilities are great and the hotel - judging from my room - seems as if had completed its renovation just yesterday! Honestly I was totally surprised by the room size, the cleanliness, and the cosy vibes and finally the relaxing bed. The staff was great, most helpful, easy going and always smiling! (Kudos to the staff for letting me check in pretty early as my flight changed and reached NOLA in a super rainy day!)

Sehr schön und zentral mit Verbesserungsbedsbedarf !

Sehr zentrale Lage, toll renoviertes Haus, sehr schöne, geräumige Zimmer !

Cons:

Man kann die Fenster nicht öffnen, die Klimaanlage ist nicht richtig einzustellen, im Haus riecht es unangenehm nach Chemie. Lüften unmöglich. Im Bad/WC gibt es auch keine Lüftung.

This hotel was exceptional, it felt safe, clean and the beds were comfy.
Pros:

Nice spacious rooms, staff was excellent, great location from Canal and Bourbon St. Lobby was nice and quiet, lovely balcony to sit out and have coffee. The staff at the front desk was always helpful and would ask if we needed anything anytime we came through the lobby.

Cons:

I really have no complaints concerning The Rubenstein.
