The day time front desk staff was polite.
The evening front desk staff was polite and accommodating.
Breakfast included.
Fresh, pleasant smell when entering the lobby.

Cons:

I was offered and paid for an upgrade when I reserved the room which was not as promised.
When i brought it to the attention of the manager her response was that she couldn't do anything about it because it was through booking.com.
The TV remote didn't work.
The fresh smell ended once I hit the hallway which smelled aged and wrecked of marijuana.
It was a 3 night stay my room was not serviced even after speaking to staff about it. I had to request towels 2x.
Cleaning staff entered my room without knocking or announcing them self and then still did not service the room after I left. Thank God I was dressed
The bed was supposed to be a Queen but I believe it was a full.
Not a good experience for my hard earned money.

I stayed at this hotel about two months ago, and while my stay itself was fine, the experience afterward has been extremely disappointing.

I have been following up for my security deposit for the past two months. During the first month, I was repeatedly told that the refund had been initiated. After waiting another month, I was suddenly informed that my deposit would not be returned because they had allegedly found a hole in the wall.

What concerns me most is the lack of transparency. Despite calling more than 10 times and sending three emails, I was never provided with any photos or evidence of the claimed damage. If there was genuine damage, I would have expected the hotel to document it and share the evidence before withholding my deposit.

The issue is not just about the money—it's about professionalism, communication, and fairness. Changing the explanation after weeks of saying the refund was being processed raises serious concerns about how deposit disputes are handled.

I cannot say whether this happened intentionally, but based on my experience, the process felt misleading and lacked basic transparency. I would encourage future guests to carefully document the condition of their room with photos or videos at both check-in and check-out and to clarify the hotel's deposit policy in writing.

Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend staying here.

Pros:

I didn't have the breakfast but it looked good. The rooms were new and modern and lovely. Not expecting that from a Best Western, but we will stay there now when we visit Buffalo.
