Acadia vacation 26
Pros:

Parking, breakfast, bed

Cons:

Room rate price is high for a noisy location across the street from Jordans restaurant that opens at 3:30am for delivery and commercial work truck people. Wow that truck noise was ridiculous. Dinner was disappointing for a hotel that should have been my best first night dinner. When I asked for cream for my coffee at the complementary coffee station I was told not today. I guess my room rate of $600 dollars a night was not paying for that cream for my coffee. When you charge these high room rates you should provide the best service. Its the little things that count. This is typical corporate owned property hospitality they count every bean. Next time I will stay in a quiet privately owned B&B on a residential street they give the best bang for the buck every time.

I would recommend The Pathmaker to others and make sure you take advantage of the breakfast!
Pros:

I really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return to The Pathmaker should I come to Bar Harbor again. Everything was within walking distance. The building is beautiful and has classy decor, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.
The breakfasts that were included with your stay were absolutely delicious! The portions were substantial and presentation was beautiful.

Cons:

Parking was a pain, and getting our stuff from the car to our room inconvenient.,,but really unavoidable. There isn’t much they could do, other than have staff assist with getting the carts from the basement and bringing luggage to our room. Fortunately we are able bodied, but it would be difficult for done.

Pros:

Coffee and tee at any time. Breakfast was delicious and the friendliness at the restaurant. (Bed comfortable and clean) o

Cons:

I like it all, no complaints. Oh the air conditioner power bottom was not working, however it can be disconnected.

Pros:

It’s a good location for being close (within walking distance) to restaurants and attractions, yet slightly away enough from the downtown noise. The rate included parking and breakfast.

Cons:

The stained carpet leading from the elevator towards the room and the stained carpet in the room. The room design felt like it didn’t have a window, and one of the front desk staff ( I assume a manager or leader of sorts) should work on her people skills.

Pros:

Everything was great. Could not have found a better place for us to stay. Staff was great, breakfast was perfect and everything was well taking care of. Our family couldn't have imagined another place to stay we would have liked better for our trip to Maine. Easy access to everything we needed.

Cons:

Having to leave. This place is awesome. Just book it if you are in Bar Harbor.

Pros:

This was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was top notch (liked the cook to order options). The location was idea, just one block from the sand bar and easy walk to main street.

Cons:

The beds were comfortable, but a bit too soft.

The stay was perfect overall. Tons to do even in the off season!
Pros:

I absolutely loved the scenery and it was amazing how the hotel accommodates for 18 year olds, it was extremely helpful. The stay overall was perfect! the rooms were clean, staff was extremely nice and helpful! It was an amazing location, perfect for overnights!

A great hotel near Acadia National Park
Pros:

The facility is in great condition and is a short walk to several shops and restaurants. It is a short drive from Acadia National Park. The staff was very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent marketing makes this expensive subpar hotel appear far better than it is.
Pros:

Location and proximity to downtown.

Cons:

Soft beds produced back ache, room refrigerator that made unacceptable noise 50 minutes out of every hour, intrusive bar staff in training more focused on selves than patrons, desk attendant at checkout that wasn’t skilled at listening nor her computer, and insufficient surface area nor storage to unpack suitcase nor sufficient outlets or charging outlets.
