On a brighter note, I believe the lady at the desk, Gulia?, stayed an hour over her normal duty time to wait on hour arr

It was a great location
Very clean
And the staff was top notch

Cons:

No signage
We walked well over an extra mile looking for the place
We even asked at the bar/bakery ATTACHED to the hotel and they sent us down the road a mile - was that deliberate, a joke, suppose to be funny?

It was the perfect spot, 5 min walk from train station and ferries. Had enough space and beautiful view.

Nos costó encontrar la entrada porque el nombre que se indica es Tosca. nos ayudaron con el tema de las claves para abrir las puertas. Muy cómodo y muy bien ubicado.

Cons:

era un poco complicado introducir la clave de acceso a la habitación porque los números son muy pequeños y poco iluminado

Très bon emplacement
Pros:

Hôtel super bien situé, idéal pour profiter facilement des alentours et se déplacer à pied.

La chambre est agréable, avec un grand balcon très appréciable. La literie est confortable et les lieux sont propres et bien entretenus. La salle de bain est agréable, avec un petit kit à disposition, ce qui est appréciable. L’arrivée autonome est également pratique et s’est déroulée sans difficulté.

Dans l’ensemble, un séjour agréable, notamment grâce à l’excellent emplacement de l’hôtel et au grand balcon.

Cons:

Petit bémol concernant le stationnement : il est assez difficile de se garer dans le secteur et les places disponibles sont quasiment toutes payantes.

Varennas most underrated hotel, the one star doesn’t do it justice!
Pros:

The location, it was in the middle of Varenna, close walk from the station and the ferry wharf.
Downstairs restaurant and mini supermarket around the corner was really convenient and fairly priced.
Check in was super smooth done via online prior to arrival, staff was available on WhatsApp during their operational hours (Gulia was very helpful and responsive)
Appreciated the snacks and drinks waiting in each rooms too

Cons:

Some rooms had renovated vinyl flooring and older rooms had red carpet that shows its age a bit. Not a deal breaker

Great location and facilities for a short stay

Great location, close to train station and ferry terminal. Also, very good facilities for a short stay. Friendly and very responsive owner/agent. We had a great stay.
