Great location. Rooms are large.
The front desk controls the AC setting. After sweating the first night we requested they turn it down. They refused. It was set at 21 deg C. We asked if they would turn it down to 19 or 20.
Really helpful and nice people
Breakfast was amazing
The Room and bathroom were clean.
Quarto grande, confortável e cheio de armários. Banheiro grande.
The hotel has spacious rooms and a very nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. Its location is excellent: very central, close to Ban Jelačić Square, the main square of Zagreb, and conveniently near a tram stop.
Breakfast offers a good choice of both hot dishes, such as omelettes and pancakes, and a cold buffet. However, the main issue is that breakfast is served until 11:00, but if you arrive after 9:30, the buffet selection is already quite limited because items are not properly replenished. This is not what one would expect from a 5-star hotel.
Another downside was the Wi-Fi, which was not very stable during the stay. Overall, the hotel has many positive aspects, especially the room and location, but the breakfast service and Wi-Fi need improvement.
Bed was heavenly comfortable, and room was spacious.
It is unclear how this hotel can be classified as a 5-star property, but more importantly, it completely misses the essence of boutique hospitality.
The entrance and lobby are unwelcoming and unnecessarily dark, matched by a receptionist who seemed like he would rather be in bed than at work. The shower was dirty, with red stains in the corners, there was a lack of essential toiletries in the bathroom, and even simple details—such as a pen on the desk—were missing. It gave the impression that the room had not been properly inspected in a long time.
What truly made the situation unacceptable was the time it took to retrieve my car from the garage, despite the fact that I had clearly requested it the night before for a specific time. This resulted in me being late for every meeting that day. The receptionist’s excuse was equally disappointing.
If this hotel aims to position itself as a boutique property, it needs a complete reset in terms of service standards and internal discipline. The staff requires serious training, and the property itself lacks any real sense of identity. The rooftop feature you seem so proud of is irrelevant if the first impression fails—and that is exactly where you lose your guests.
The location was fantastic!! The staff was very helpful and facilities were nice. Very convenient! I would definitely stay again. The restaurant upstairs was nice, enjoyed dinner but not breakfast.
The breakfast buffet was okay, didn't love the ordered hot food.
It was a great central location.
